Are you kidding me? You obviously have no idea about what is and whats not good for you. Doctors give out prescriptions for powerful opiates multiple times a day. These drugs have highly addictive properties and extreme rates of dependency. Just like a highly illegal drug known as heroin. The real gateway drug is more like codeine or hydro-codeine. You gain a tolerance to these things and are left chasing a buzz that can only be brought on by more and more powerful opiates. People who are going to do hard drugs are going to do them regardless of their pot use. Marijuana is almost just as useful in pain management as these opiates without any of the risk of dependency or withdrawals. And if you bring in tinctures and extracts of marijuana, it greatly exceeds the pharmacological value of these harmful and addictive opiates. Do a little research before you go bashing something I'm sure you've never even seen before. Irresponsible use of marijuana can be a problem but that has more to do with the ambitions of the smoker than the plant itself. If you're lazy sober, weed sure isn't going to help that. It's recreational value is right up there with alcohol with half the potential to ruin yours or someone elses life. Stop being so judgmental, you're probably A)an old fashioned closed minded racist, or B) a far right looney who thinks birth control and financial aid should be abolished. I'm not saying you are either of those, but your previous statement greatly enhances your propensity to be one of the above.

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. When I was young, I tried a number of things, but ditched them all (long ago) for marijuana (and a few beers). I even managed to quit smoking cigarettes (with the help of marijuana; now, I don't even crave them) The same goes for HUNDREDS OF FRIENDS over a period of MANY DECADES. In fact, if I had to try to find something like crack, coke or heroin, I wouldn't have the first clue where to get it. NONE of the people I know mess with it. But, I couldn't care less about any of that. Even right this minute here, a cup of coffee and a few tokes on the toker and I am perfectly content.

You have fallen for that old propaganda, but you can EASILY be PROVEN to be very wrong. You sound like the kind of lying idiot who would swallow lies like in the old classic, "Refer Madness". But, if you watch that movie, then actually LOOK AROUND YOU, you would not see that kind of behavior, in spite of the fact that there are easily MANY TIMES MORE pot smokers now than there were then.(I bet you were a Nixon fan)

You would be astonished to know how many people YOU come into contact with on a daily basis who smoke pot. Yet, they all do their jobs, and no one can tell the difference. Cops, lawyers, mechanics, plumbers, hair cutters, house cleaners, electricians, etc., etc., etc. I had a dentist who got high; he could even tell that I did because of the lack of tarter on my teeth (gee, imagine that - something good from pot!).

Face it, you are an IGNORANT LIAR. You don't have a clue about what you speak.

P.S. I would LOVE for you to see me remodeling homes (stoned), and to meet some of the satisfied customers. I also do lawn care, and many won't let anyone else touch their lawns.

It may work for you but if you have a job amywhere in corporate America, smoking MJ will still get you fired if you get caught in a random pee test or have an accident at work and get the mandantory WC testing at the doctor's office or hospital. It's tough to go out looking for another job with a "Drug Related Dismissal"on your record.

If you are dumb/desperate enough to bend over and work for corporate America, you deserve to get screwed (and you sound like you would bend over and take it, too). Remember, "corporate America" is every bit as corrupt and dishonest as any criminal, not to mention very stupid.

Keywords: "False Positive". Ever hear that? Not that they will get the test right in the first place (they tend to be real incompetent), but if you take Ibuprofen on any regular basis, it will show up as MJ. If you eat a few poppy seed buns, you will be tagged as a heroin user. If you use mouthwash, you will be labled as a drunk. etc. BTW, take note how severly alcoholic "corporate America" is (especially in Cheyenne!).

In light of the lying, criminal tendencies of "corporate America", they deserve to reap what they sow. If they try hard enough, they can make it so no one is qualified to work for them (not even themselves!). In fact, if they were forced to meet the same standards they expect their employees to meet, they would fail.

I once had an asshole-hypocrite boss who, in spite of paying rock bottom minimum wages to his Mexicans, to work in a hostile environment, often without proper safety equipment, would have the audacity to drug-test them, when he himself was a stoner. Yep, his computer guru, which just happened to be my guru,(I used to do work at his house, too), just happened to accidently catch him with his tray of MJ (while working on bosses comp), which he promptly slid under the couch. My guru passed this little tidbit on to me.

I was told by one boss that, the last thing they want to do is give a bad reference, for fear of being sued. I watched a small theft ring get fired for stealing machines. I watched them get a not-bad reference, at which time they went right next door and got jobs at Dell computers (austin, tx.)! I was astounded, which is why I asked and they explained it to me.

I have nothing but anymosity for corporate America and anyone who (blindly) defends it's actions and attitudes.
