One of my friends who quit school gets money to buy pot by stealing stuff out of unlocked cars. He always got CDs, Gormans, radar, phones sometimes computers to sell. I could do that but I don't need to steal. He sometime do crack. I have been wit him doing it but I am not ready yet to try it. I will get my nerve up sometime and hit it. He say it is the highest high he had ever had.
whatever man. from the looks of it, it seems like you're the stereotypical uneducated minority. have fun with your future shit job and life of crime. i do commend your integrity of not wanting to steal and hard drug use as of yet. lol

Evidently it doesn't cure terrible spelling and bad sentence structure.

Oh please no not that! I just quit smoking cigarettes and I do not want to have to pick up a joint and pollute my lungs all over again.

Unless you legalize all drugs it will not do any good to just legalize pot. Simply because they will just have to sell the hard drugs then. Besides its too hard to get good pot --to much of it is laced with dangerous chemicals like PCP and all we need is young people going around wasting their live more than they already do.

Of course to have some pure stuff we have to grow our own herb garden.

Last but not least I do not want the current administration to pass that cause then can you just not hear all the nasty comments about that? Take it to the republicans. They are looking for a campaign slogan.

You are perpetuating myths about the purity of drugs. Pot is by and far one of the most unadulterated substance you can ingest. Economically it doesn't make much sense to add other drugs in order to get users hooked. Usually those drugs cost much more than it costs to grow pot since it can be grown virtually anywhere with little start up money. Now I have heard of dealers in Europe, though rare, will add tiny glass beads to add more weight to the bag, but again it is rare. Also as far as obtaining good pot, you just need to know a pothead or some hippie ie the connoisseur type, lol. They will most certainly steer you in the right direction. To comment on your smoke argument, smoking is not the only form on ingestion. You could inhale it has a gaseous vapor or dissolve in oil or alcohol to cook with or make extracts. Your political argument made no sense to me so I won't comment on that.

geoffrey is part right. Some is and some ain't. You got to watch out for a lot of Mexican which is sometimes chopped up with other shit. I have bought some local that was pretty bad but local around here ain't strong. You need Panama or Cali if you can get it.

A lot of peep go to Hidden Valley to buy weed and rock. If you be there be quick. They think you the cops if you try to talk to them. Most of it is good there. One of the corners on Graham St is ok but stray away from where the projects is at or you might get capped. Two many gangbangers out there. The corner parking lot down the street from Gunn School is good. I have bought some fine Panama Bud there. There is some apartments off of Monroe Road where if you pull up in the parking lot and flash your lights these kids will come out but you have to front the money. They have some real good weed. You got to know who you dealing wit. Sometimes them kids run off with your money if you ain't watching them. There is a lot of places to buy stuff on Wilkerson Boulevard. That is the hot spot now out toward the airport, espcially for hard drugs. They say if you looking just ride out there at night and go where the shiny cars is at. They is a lot of hos out there and they be selling more than they ass. They ask you if you want a date say yes. So you go and they like a dam store wit all kinds of sex and crack and weed.

I bout a gun from a dude for 30 and a half baggie. It is a 308. He file the numbers off of it. We took it out Reamont Rd and shot it at trees and stuff and I kill a dam cat we seen. We hid the gun in a box in Avie's car trunk. Then we went back to Box's house an smoked 3 big blunts and got foked up. We strip down to our drawers and acted like WWF wrestlers wrestling all over the dam house. Avie held me down and Box started giving me head and it was some funny shit but it was cool. I had never had a guy do it to me. It dont mean I am homo because of it. I still want to get up in my girl. I am drunk from drinking Rum and smoking a J right now. I am going to bed bcause I got to go to fokking Olympic fokking High school in morning.

Whether recreational or medicinally used, I have yet to hear of someone overdosing on marijuana or users being directly linked with theft, murder or suicide! A weedhead may crush your food supply or be in a comatosed sleep for hours but they won't stick you or a convenience store up to get another dime bag...lol!

Marijuana is an illegal substance so im sure our government would take good care of who handles it. Some people MUST have it for medical reasons. Who are we to stand in their way?

The domino effect follows.

Let murderers and rapist out, but keep the
pot smokers in jail. Make it legal and less of an interest to people.

The legalization of MJ for POSSESSION will be only that. You will be able to buy and sell but it will not give you the right to have it in your system if you have any type of a job deemed a "drug free work zone". What you do on your time is your business but what you have in your system on company premises,operating machinery,lift trucks,company vehicles, or doing any paperwork pertaining to the dailey operation and well being of the company is still going to be up to a company to set rules. Since they is no 100% test to determine when you put the substance in your system and how much is in there , the policy will be zero ! When you hire in,you are advised of the drug policy. Your are normally given a booklet and sign a paper stating you understand the policy. So when you get selected to go for testing, take it like a man when you test positive and get fired. Companies don't have time to be adult baby sitters for a bunch of stoners who can't follow simple rules. Changing laws for possession will not change these policies. A drug related dismissal will be on your work record when you try to find another job. Enjoy your life of day labor,mowing grass,bussing tables,cleaning pools,and menial jobs. Think twice when you fire one off!

i would rather smoke weed than kill my liver n lungs with tabacco and alchohol. i would also rather have weed than lab created drugs that have a list longer than my arm with side affects

This is an assumption and isn't necessarily correct. My best friend in college smoked two big Jamacian Bud blunts and got high. He was driving erratically near Sumter, SC, lost control of his car and ran off a bridge. marijuana was definitely a contributing factor in his death. THC affects people in different ways. I found, back when I smoked, that I lost a lot of depth perception visually. I know people who had digestive problems and others who had "smoker's cough". Short-term effects of marijuana include problems with memory and learning, distorted perception (sights, sounds, time, touch), trouble with thinking and problem solving, loss of motor coordination, increased heart rate, and anxiety.These effects are even greater when other drugs are mixed with weed. A user may also experience dry mouth and throat. These were short term, under the influence, symptoms. Studies have shown there there are long term symptoms that can lead to life long illness.
Marijuana smoke contains some of the same cancer-causing compounds as tobacco, sometimes in higher concentrations.Studies show that someone who smokes five joints per week may be taking in as many cancer-causing chemicals as someone who smokes a full pack of cigarettes every day. Researchers at Johns Hopkins have documented cases of long term regular users of Cannabis who are unable to achieve an erection.

~~~REPLY: This is partially true in statistical ways, yes, if you smoke too much pot it does have long term side effect as does anything. Yes, it does effect some people differently than others. Like alcohol your side effects depend greatly on how your body handles it and how much you injest or smoke. My husband has smoked since he was young and is 28 now and has no problem with an erection nor has any of my friends that are guys i have known that smoke. That side effect is majorly for alcohol. How much would you have to smoke to get the same side effects as cigarettes? Exactly, it is not tobacco, no need for the comparrison. Nor are the side effects of smoking it mostly like alcohol either or anything else for that matter. It all leans on the fact of how your body responds to it. I would probably have lost control of my vehicle too if i smoked 2 fat ass jamaican blunts and decided to go drive a motor vehicle when it is obvious that that wasn't a great decision in the first place, as with alcohol, hints: if you are so high that you don't want to get up, then don't. If you were drunk as shit and could not walk strait then why would you go and drive? I however have only had to wait maybe 30 minutes after smoking to be ok to drive though, unlike alcohol and i have never had depth perception issues maybe a couple of black out moments due to smoking some really good shit in a mass quantity, but they always say, that once you've smoked enough to get high, there is no point in smoking anymore after that, you cannot get higher than the highest high you feel. You only cough after you inhale because it has a harsh hit. You can however develope smokeers cough as with anything you smoke. I also find that it helps my anxiety and as with any mood stabilizers or perscription meds for some the side effects affect them and with others it doesn't. Again it's all in how your body deals with it. None of these reason's you have given us are good enough reasons to argue not legalizing it. You may have learning disabilities if you start at a young age and continue to adulthood but I and many others I know are no dumber after we smoked than when we didn't and have no problem learning new things or remembering them at that those are mostly short term, under the influence, symptoms. Depth persception is a major issue with alcohol though I do not see anyone arguing to make it illegal and how many vehicle accidents happen due to alcohol? How many people do you see running to support clinics to quit smoking marijuana as opposed to other drugs? B/c it isn't a problem.
I feel the only way to win the war on drug use is to have public humiliation of the offenders. For example if we had stocks like in the colonial days it would be humiliating and uncomfortable but it would not be cruel. A marijuana smoker would have to stand or sit with his or her head and arms in the stocks for one day. Crackheads would have to spend 2 days in the stocks. Meth, Cocaine and heroin users would have to spend 3 days in the stocks. Family members could come feed them. They could have a little booth put around them for privacy when they have to have bodily functions.
Growers, Dealers and transporters of marijuana, crack, meth and heroin should be subjected to public whippings. Yes, I know it is cruel but these people are despicable criminals who thumb their noses at the laws of this land. First offense: 40 lashes for marijuana growers and transporters of any illegal drugs, 100 lashes for dealers of any illegal drug. Second offense punishment doubles. Subsequent offense would be public execution by firing squad.
I feel that this severe punishment would end illegal drug use in this country. It would also control the misfits in society who think that the law doesn't apply to them.
~~~~ REPLY: what are you an idiot? you really put marijuana in the same category as haroin or cocaine or meth? This ppl is an example of a sheltered child. one who has been told from day one that all drugs are equally terrible and have the same terrible side effects and they themselves were probably drinking on the not so bad alcohol at the moment too right?

Also, if we used firing squads it would be a quick and cheap way of controlling the population by instantly eliminating criminals instead of housing them in prisons.
how about we all stand u in front of guns with/without the blindfold for being the dumbass u are. really its ignorant people like you who lash out and ruin our country voting on things just because ur friends think its the right thing instead of sitting down and figuring the pros n cons of a situation. because if u did that then u would know that there are many POSITIVE uses for weed.
its obvious that u have no clue what ur talking about except for what D.A.R.E. taught you at school. i do believe in capital punishment but for smoking weed, being shot by firing squad, get real. dont get me wrong i hate any other recreational enebriating substances. but as americans if we are of age we should have the right to consume whatever we want to. without the government trying to control it all.
