There is a difference between a good drug and a bad drug. Marijuana in no way should be illegal. How can you smoke cigarettes at 16, (which is 100 times worse than marijuana) and if you smoke weed you get arrested. All the recent scientific studies are revealing the truth and medical benefits of marijuana but the government looks the other way. Smoking weed doesnt make you a bad person or a stoner. If some government officials tried marijuana and took time to understand it they would see things differently. As time moves on more and more people are realizing the truth and harmlessness of marijuana. The goverment could regulate it and tax it to help bring us out of debt

i would much rather have a doctor operate on me under the influence of marijuana as opposed to oxycontin, morphine, dilaudid, or any other now legal pain meds. if the doctor is in the condition to need a medicical marijuana prescription in the 1st place, they arent well enough to perform surgery. you cant blame the cocaine and other drug use on marijuana. alcohol and cigarettes contribute to cocaine. ask someone whos had experience

people that have a real medical problem really needs marijuana. it helps with the pain and the mental effects of it. would you rather people do all kinds of other pain meds and possibly get addicted to them or just get high? marijuana is not addictive, and nobody has ever over dosed off of it.

You're obviously ignorant on this subject, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt & suggest you get educated before opening your piehole any more on this issue.
I use pot to relieve severe back pain as well as to induce hunger in order to keep my weight up, plus it has none of the lousy side effects, for me & others, of alcohol. For one thing alcohol kills not only the user but the innocents that happen to be in the way of a drunk driver. Most pot users won't even get behind the wheel of a vehicle, but if they do it's probably just to listen to the car radio.

The drug war is a huge wast of resources and finances because in the end those that want to do drugs will still do drugs. Cannabis is not very harmful but if you gave all the heroin addicts a huge supply of drugs we wouldn't have to worry about them much longer.

Well, I don't guess you would want your doctor to smoke a fat joint directly before surgery anymore than you would want him to guzzle a pint of liquor. No one wants an inebriated physician trying to work on them. There are plenty of things people can use to intoxicate themselves. Wasting billions of tax dollars isn't helping the situation. Marijuana is not a bad product. It has a plethora of uses and is mostly benign and non-toxic. where are your complaints? FYI Marijuana actually deters people from harder drugs (like alcohol). The gateway theory is bull.
