I agree that if it's okay for medical use, it should be legalized. However, there should be some regulations set up with it also. Such as driving, age, etc. It would get the states out of debt. Yes alcohol & cig. taxes helped the states while they are causing health issues to the point of death even over many-many years, but they are a CHOICE. Everyone should be able to make their own choice, good or bad. I know myself that I wouldn't need nerve pills if I was able to smoke, I'm a much more pleasant person whenever I do get to smoke (which is hardly ever). And too many people are alergic (even though they don't know it)to alcohol; that's why they get mean and their body gets sick. I think it does help with my pain also, but I guess I'll just have to take more damn pills - I hate pills!

I've seen people actually get sick smoking pot. So it would all depend on the strength being regulated, I guess. If I knew it would help my migraines and not make me sick, I might be inclined to try it. But only if it was legal. I've heard a lot of good benefits of marijuana but then there are some bad ones too. especially people smoking too much of it. I wouldn't want to be on the same road with a drunk driver or someone that had been smoking the stuff. It affects everyone differently, just like any other drug. And don't forget that if it was legalized, there would probably be a stipulation that if you use it, you can't get food stamps or other help and probably not even a job.

Will create jobs for citizens. Bring in lots of tax dollars to the Government and local Counties. Drop the number of inmates in jails that tax payers pay.

The government needs to do a better job at convincing the American voters if they want to continue on with this failed prohibition of marijuana. They claim that the 'plant' is dangerous and deadly, yet they can't provide any proof or credible evidence to back these claims up. If you want to know the FACTS about marijuana then click on the link below.

Id rather take an herbal drug that works as good if not better over any man made drug for the same illment.Further more the legalization of mary jane would not only hurt the drug cartels pocket but the money used to battle mary could go for the war against the real dangers. That being meth, cocaine, herion and the groing perscription abuse war ( ie all man made) that this country is losing daily.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Aries

Your boredom threshold is lower than usual this today so don't be surprised if you start to feel restless. Ideally, you should alter your usual routine and do something totally different, because that will certainly keep you interested in what's going on around you. Watch out if you decide to spend money because you might part with a lot more than you intended.
