I am medically handicapped, the drug per the doctors would help me to walk better and control my nerves. I agree cigeretes are a drug as is alchol and addicting but pot is illegal? makes no sense.

Lets be realistic here wouldn't it be better just to legalize it then spend the billions of dollars trying to stop something the government is selling to sick people...Its as addictive as alcohol, Tobacco, or prescription drugs....

Think about this, most people who smoke weed are content to stay right where they are, they don't usually get out and drive, like the drunks do.They don't act like their tough guys and start fights, they just like to kick it with there friends watch t.v., do a lot of creative cooking and chill.

i think marijuana should be leagalized becasue it would take away alot of useless court cases and people who are jailed becasue of it i have to pay for in my taxes it has alot of medical uses its a god given item and why would it be illegal when every one has tried or wants to try it its a useless law

I don't believe it's addictive. I smoke it, a few times a year, could probably count on one hand how many times I smoke it a year. I hardly call that addicted. It helps my nerves, and my body pains. My mom was dieing of cancer, never smoked it in her life. She asked for a joint, I gave it to her and she felt good for a day. If that's all it took to make her feel good for one day, it was worth it! Legalize it.

It is a God given plant. He put it here for some reason. God made no mistakes. Only the people that manufacture and alter it to make it more powerful are wrong. And the government could make oodles and oodles of money from taxing the crap out of it. Why not take advantage of legalization, especially for the medicinal use. Grow it under the standards of the FDA but good luck protecting from little teenage thieves.

weed can be a good thing but also a bad weed just like everything ealse in this world effects everybody differently just pills that the doctor perscribes u it effects u differently then everyone else note the different possible side effects but truth all in all is legal or not people who smoke it just need to be more responsible about it once agian i agree with in in moderation even if not adddicted to weed still eats away at ur money and slowly at ur motivation but once quit it all begins to slowly come back weed people say is not addictive i dont belive its tottaly not cases have shown slight addiction due to the dopamine increase in the brain from the weed not as saver as cook but and not as addictive as cigs but some where inbetween the middle of them both back to the main point there has shown to be with draws from weed but the usal withdraw from weed for a heavy smoker can last from 3 days to a week with coke a heavy user could die from irthymic heartbeat if quit cold turkey or other health problems or take weeks months to get off of cuase the dopamine recepters in the brain are so damaged
