The drug is already everywhere. I believe the time to act is now and begin educating youngsters instead of preaching. The preaching does not work!

Nevermind the vast amount of tax dollars wasted administering a failed controlled substance policy and potential savings that reform will bring, pot makes video games, food, music, my wife, and my mistress waaaaay better.

The government is wasting precious funds on stopping the flow of marijuana when they could use that money to find a cure for cancer or help endangered animals.

Why not? Then lazy stoners who mooch off their girlfriends won't be criminals. They'll just be lazy stoners who mooch off their girlfriends.

I see no issues with it. It might generate some addtional money for the state/city. The politicians will then blow through that money and look for something else to tax.
I like the idea of everyone smoking weed. It will make me look even more ambitious.

In my mind, Marijuana should be just like alcohol, smoking and driving is illegal unless a specified age. 18 or 21.

Legalization of all recreational drugs would deal a devastating blow to gangs and cartels all over the world. Marijuana has never been shown to harm anyone - opposition to it has been entirely political. Prohibiting marijuana makes no more sense than prohibiting alcohol did, and just as it did then, transfers money and power to criminals.

Really? Do you honestly think those gangs and cartels are just going to roll over and play dead while suburban white kids take over their business? I'm betting in 80% of the murders in Seattle (or any large city) drugs are involved. Drug dealers are scum who enable weakness. Best to make the war on drugs an all out war with no holds barred. First step, drop some Daisycutters on the hilltop haciendas of the cartel leaders...

All drugs should be legal, who is to say what a person can or can not do with their own body. If the government is worried about treatment then take the proceeds and spend it on substance abuse r
Treatment.

Even Trump doesn't know.
