You smoke MJ,you get caught at work in a pee test, you get fired, you get a "drug related dismissal" on your record and background checks for your next job, and yes there is a victim.......YOU ARE A VICTIM OF YOUR OWN STUPIDITY !!!

People will smoke it for more reasons than we could imagine. But it is still against the law. For that reason it is a criminal act. The question is " Are you a criminal?"

Don't think so? Why not test the waters to prove your statement. Walk into work with a big torpedo hanging off your lip. If they want a pee test, take it. Now you have a reason to take a stand for your "rights". See how far it gets you... Go for it!!!

I support to legalize it. I have been smoking occasionally and responsibly for 15 years and I have no problems. Then again I had a problem making a jackass out of myself a couple times from drinking in the past. I don't drink on the job and I don't smoke on the job. I don't drink and drive and I don't smoke and drive but if I did I'd be driving extra slow and cautious, lol. If I drink and drive like I did when I was a kid I'd be driving fast and violent. Alcohol is a very bad drug in my opinion. It hurts more people by far. So if this was a truely free country then the people would make their own rules. If this was a democracy, we would vote on it and it would be. The tax revenue and profits would be taken away from Mexico and kept right here in MS. Crime would go down. According to high times magazine, marijuana is a bigger cash crop than tobacco and and tomatoes combined. It would generate 1.5 billion annually per state in taxes and would slow alcohol and its abbusivness. Keep in mind that weed is not addictive like alcohol, physically addictive that is. Also it doesn't kill people.

Go back up and read post #20. It may be made legal to POSSESS someday but it will be many years of Supreme Court battles before it is made legal to USE. A DRD on your work record doesn't help on your next job quest.

It would bring a lot of money. There would be less crime (I think). You've never heard of anyone killing anyone for smoking, too much. I think alcohol should be illegal and marijuana should be legal. Alcohol has killed way, too, many people for it to still be in stores to sell to anyone.

Buuuuuuzzzzz.Earth to Brandi: try to envision what your life will be like in the twenty years following a MJ or drug conviction. Temporary satisfaction for the moment won't erase the heartache of a drug related past following you like a dog's tail. peace!!!

Why would anyone support something that makes you stupid and lazy?

If the states who has legalized it for "Medicinal Purposes" actually treated it like a prescribed medicine instead of a 60’s flashback of Haight Ashbury or Woodstock then maybe the government would take this serious and legalize it for real

And in regards to the Tax it argument...
Whereís all that money from the Casino Revenue?
And where is all the money from taxing Cigarettes up to 5 bucks a pack??

Nope sorry, that argument is thin people. But keep dreaming and making excuses you'll need the practice for calling in "Sick" so you can stay home and waste your life away smoking weed and giggling like little girls.

You might Stop Smoking that stuff Orville it's "Haight Ashbury"

The street names commemorate two early San Francisco leaders: Pioneer and exchange banker Henry Haight and Munroe Ashbury, a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors from 1864 to 1870

The Haight-Ashbury district is noted for its role as a center of the 1960s hippie movement, a post-runner and closely associated offshoot of the Beat generation or beat movement, members of which swarmed San Francisco's "in" North Beach neighborhood two to eight years before the "Summer of Love" in 1967. Many who could not find space to live in San Francisco's northside found it in the quaint, relatively cheap and underpopulated Haight-Ashbury. The '60s era and modern American counterculture have been synonymous with San Francisco and the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood ever since.
