It is a plant that grows from Mother Earth, much like tobacco. People can smoke cigarettes filled with carcinogens all day and it is totally legal, not to mention deadly. Smoking marijuana is not deadly, you can not overdose on it, and it is not any different than smoking cigarettes. The only reason people have a problem with it is because it is illegal. And my thoughts to those hypocrites are they are not perfect law abiding citizens because no one is. There is not one single American that can honestly say they have never broken the law. Get off your high horse and stop judging people because in the end we will all be judged by the only One that matters.

I admire Ron Paul for his down to earth common sense...so uncommon with the current breed of politicians. Ron Paul supports the legalization of marijuana on the basis that it would stop drug trafficking and the drug wars that go on because of the high profits to be made by keeping it illegal. I agree. Not to mention, the blood money made by drug lords and pushers. Take away their power.

We should declare "Peace with Honor". and use the resouces that are being wasted on the drug war for reducing our national debt.
We have too many people in prison because of the drug laws, and we are not "winning" the war on drugs.

It's time to get rid of this outdated law that uses law enforcement money that could be used better in the enforcement of other laws.

It's time to get rid of the law and the arcaic fat ass law officers that violate your rights, kill you, take your property, and what ever else they can STEAL from the citizens.

So now they say there will be a drug dog on the BHS campus on September 1st to check cars with no repercussions. What a joke! They are just hoping to get some stupid people in there and then bust them. BPD needs to go find real criminals to mess with. The article in the E-E states "The respective backgrounds of vehicles aren’t always fully known, especially if they are bought used. The detection dog will be able to signal if there are any problems, and the vehicle’s owner can then take care of them if there are with no repercussions." So from now on ,anytime I'm pulled over and searched, I'll tell them I bought the car used and am not responsible for what the previous owner may have left in my vehicle.

Marijuana is from mother nature and has been around for a very long time. It is time to legalize this drug and spend resources to fight manufacturing of truly harmful drugs.

The people have spoken! 75% say legalize marijauna; the poll numbers are in, and by proclamation the prohibition law is void.

If law enforcement didnt have to worry about marijuana, they could focus on the REAL problem in Bartlesville and that is METH!!!
