I just found Georgia Care Project and believe they will help push the medical marijuana here in Georgia. Actually Georgia has a medical marijuana law on the books since 1980 according to ga care project. Let's get this thing rolling again!

More power to you in influencing the fools under the 'Golden Dome'.

Just to warn you that GA is a 'red state' that has a few old heads in it that would like the 2001 flag back on the posts.

Interesting.
But if you know Georgia, it will make real strict regulations to obtain it.

All that's gonna happen, for those who will abuse weed after the law passes, is that they will receive stricter jail sentences if found possessing the med marijuana.

Think, if you were caught with it in your system, you probably would violate Georgia's uncontrolled substance code AND given a prescribed drug offense charge if you didn't have the papers from a doctor that state that you should have it. Folks who get caught slanging those 'blue football' Xanax get mad charges in Florida (and you can't hide it from popo by sniffing weed up your nose LOL).

And you know that weed ain't like pills which get out your system quickly. Be aware, some employers in spotted areas round the country won't even hire you if you have nicotine in your system.

So hope y'all know what's up before asking about this 'reformation'...

Genesis 1:11-12

King James Version (KJV)

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

If not legalized at least decriminalize it. No point in keeping people locked up and wasting money on something that's not harming anyone.

Ofcourse I support legalization of marijuana. There are so many benefits for the all around well being of most people. I don't understand why alcohol is considered less harmful by the federal government when it causes so many problems. No one has ever died from MJ.

<quoted text>Guess what, I smoked weed from the time I was 15 until just a few months ago. I graduated high school Salutatorian, went to college and now have two Bachelor Degrees. Also, I probably would have never made it through college if it wasn't for weed because I would have been too stressed out. Just a thought here but if pot makes you stupid, lazy and unfocused, then you were never that smart, active or focused to begin with. Just MY personal opinion.

Come down off your cloud. Police don't put MJ smokers in jail. Police put LAWBREAKERS in jail that are dumb and stupid enough to GET THEMSELVES caught possessing and selling an illegal substance just as a person dealing and selling moonshine or hard drugs. Work to change the laws instead of breaking them and getting caught as your arrest record will follow you through life to your grave. It may be cool to you and your buds in the hood now, but when you grow out of the adolescent mentality phase of your life, YOU will finally understand the damage YOU have caused YOURSELF and YOUR career.

There is already a case here where some young people vacationed in Colorado, hooked up with locals and scored some LEGAL weed , came home and one got caught in a random on site test and got fired under his job's drug free work zone policy. His excuse is that it was legal when and where he smoked and shouldn't be held against him back home. Company stands by their rules and person is out of a job with a drug dismissal on his work history. The lawyers will make good money fighting issues like that.

Not at all! It's just hard to understand why people don't stop and think about what is and is not legal before they do something stupid. Then they have plenty of time on their hands to try to place blame on someone else other than themselves. Regardless of what some states are doing, you have to STAY in those states or face the consequences you bring on yourself. Most stoners don't understand that.
