It's no worse than alcohol, is actually safer than most prescription drugs and other recreational drugs, it would reduce crime, and benefit the economy. If people don't like it, they can abstain from it... but why do people always want to control what OTHER people do?

It is insane that this plant is illegal. The good it brings much outweighs any bad.

As stated on the first page of the Bible Genesis 1:11"God has given you all the seed bearing plants on Earth to use." It could help so many ways from medical, clothing, paper, food, etc.

safer than alcohol, would empty prison of non violent offenders who have no reason to be there, and would bring in incredible revenues for gov. Gargamel (Doyle) to blow on his commuter train and other stupid stuff.

Yes I do!! It's way past overdue. I think once they figure out how to tax it and cotroll it, it'll be everywhere. Just like a $7.00 pack of cigarettes, or a $20.00 pack of beer!!!

I strongly believe that marijuanna SHOULD be legalized specifically to help those who are terminally ill and medically impaired. Some patients may not react well to most, if not all perscriptions they have been perscribed to. If Marijuanna happens to be the only appropriate source that can accurately maintain a patient('s) pain and/or anxiety, then who are we to step in the way of this?

Not only will marijuanna help sustain the problematic issues that arise with cancer patients, people who suffer from PTSD, etc. It WILL have an enormous impact on the level of drugs that are being smuggled over the borders and our crime rates will drop.

As much as I could go on, there is too much information to write down at once. I strongly suggest viewing the following link, as it will help you to understand that marijuana isnt just used to "get high," but to mentally and physically help those who are in need of medical stability.

I feel it is far less harmful than alcohol, which is legal. Also, because of the criminal penalty, many use dangerous alternatives that are not regulated or even tested. We could also tax it's sale, like other states and localities have done, making a budget boon that would be helpful in many more concerning areas.

Much safer than alcohol, why should it be treated any differently? Legalize so kids will have a harder time getting it.

For recreational use marijuana will chill out part of society, whereas alcohol makes you pissed. Hemp is also the strongest fiber textile on the planet and biodiesel can be made from hemp oil. It would help the economy out tremendously.

Just what we need.drugs in better reach of the kids. It's bad enough that they can go down to the corner and get it.Now you people want to put it in the gas stations too.I can't wait to be driving down the road and get slammed into by someone that is stoned and drunk. Most of you people can't drive the way it is.Now you people want to let our kids smoke pot and destroy there brain before they have a chance to enjoy life.I bet most of you that support this are pot head already, didn't finish school, work at Mcdonalds, don't have kids to think about or a house payment.wake up...that crap makes you stupid.

@in appleton. Prohibition puts drugs in the hands of kids, not legalization. The prohibition is creating problems far worse than smoking pot. Give Wisconsin a SAFER choice in marijuana than in alcohol.

"stoned and drunk" is your key, alcohol is the ingredient for disaster, not marijuana. Now to fuel your car, Industrial Hemp could be used there also, to bad we are the only industrialized nation not cultivating hemp cannabis.

Smoking pot, despite conventional belief is actually non-toxic and non-intoxicating, it is actually psychoactive (like caffeine) and smoking pot certainly does not destroy the brain. To the opposite, medical marijuana has been proven...ah, but you don't want proof, you just want to provide, well... I am not sure exactly what are trying to provide, but you are providing nothing of value.

Get the facts, site your sources and come back without biased and discriminatory comments.
