that says it all about you.
YES. I admit I would rather commit the horrible crime of smoking pot than be an obstinate, judgemental narcissist.

And I certainly hope that says a lot about me. I would never want to be as miserable as you.

You really do live in a drug induce fantasy world.
That is a shame i never before would have thought that of you.
I lead a great life.
i have family that loves me and knows they can depend on me.
I do a job that is more of a love then a job.
I have my health and at my age its better then most.

What i find remarkable is one person will make derogatory remarks towards me or anyone else and suddenly others follow like sheep.
Not a single one of you know me nor know my life.
You make wild assumptions based solely on the fact i disagree with legalization of what you can't live without.
Go ahead make your remarks if it makes you happy to think those things of me.
I laugh at it only because i know off base it is.

I think the time has come to reverse the way the government feels about marijuana.Instead of spending money trying to stop it they can now collect money by taxing it.

I don't do drugs or smoke pot. I lead a quiet, happy, drug and alcohol free life.
You can write how happy you are but it's quite obvious to anyone who reads your narcissistic posts how miserable of a person you are. These assumptions are not wild, they are proven every time you post your harsh and judgemental opinions. Your words sell you out every post.

don't waste anymore of your time with that fool, we ALL know he is sadistic and is most definitely a troll. Who cares how he, you, me live our lives! Thats just it, too many people worried about what someone else is doing, even though it has no direct effect on them. If you want to party, then party! Thats the way I see it....you are right though, he does seem to be a miserable human being. MAybe he's just mas because he can't smoke pot due to his occupation, so because he can't, nobody else should be able to. His post remind me of a little kid that can't get his way....waaaaaaaa! have a good evening Wayward....peace :)

So anyone who holds strong personal nut unpopular beliefs is a narcissist.
Well i guess our founding fathers, and probably Abe Lincoln too were all narcissist because they too held very strong opinions that weren't at the time popular.
Its really amazing how if anyone goes against your belief and your fellow sheep there must be something wrong with them.
Sorry to disappoint you but i really am a happy go lucky person.

I hope this means you'll stop posting to me too.
Seriously i get tired of your whining about it should be legal and anyone who disagrees must be a narcissist.
You don't dare actually want to confront the issues and ONLY the issues because you would lose.
You are a coward.

The taxing to the max is really a given.
Just look at tobacco and alcohol and you know marijuana would also be taxed to the hilt.
But are you really ready for all the real changes that would also occur ?

1 ) it would require an ID to purchase it
2 ) You would have to be 18 or older maybe even 21
3 ) it would be prohibited in bars, restaurants, public buildings, etc
4 ) it will always be illegal to use while driving a car ( just like alcohol )
5 ) illegal to transport large quantity across state lines to escape high taxes like tobacco is.

I used to work for a company that would do random drug and alcohol tests on employees ( its legal ) if you were found to have any in your system they fired you.( also totally legal )
You can bet they'll do the same with marijuana and that too will be legal for the same exact reason alcohol is.
Doesn't matter if its a legal product or not.
If its against a corporations rules they can legally enforce it.

If you want to have an honest discussion on it without personal attacks or harassment i'll be happy to respectfully continue.

what issues? me and quite a few other posters put you in your place, and yet you continue. and then you cry about it....what a loser you are...and I didn't post anything to you, except for now, loser....and I called you sadistic.. do you also have reading comprehension problems on top of being just plain ignorant? it's obvious that you do... legalization is coming, get used to it. other than that, get lost troll...

This is posing a problem for companies right now in Illinois as they prepare for this bill. They cannot fire a person who legally has a medical marijuana card issued to them. So thats out. Random tests are still in place, but marijuana will take a hit due to the # of people who will get legal medical cards. And the taxing issue is not an issue at all. All estimates is that medical marijuana will be 60% cheaper then street values. Thats the same thing that happened in cali and colorado. prices are so cheap in dispensaries. Way way cheaper then current street value. So again. thats out.

I'm impressed an honest, intelligent, and respectful response.
Please lets continue it.
I doubt there will be that many medical cards issued on it.
And there is no telling the limits on those cards especially in IL.
Don't compare IL to Calif. we're way different in our restrictions.
Cost may be cheap at first but seriously the gov. not going after it for tax ?
I really think taxing it to the max is a given. Especially considering our states financial situation.
Quinn would pass it into law in a heartbeat just for the tax alone.
Work is the one real issue i agree with you on.
It'll be a nightmare. Just like driving and using it will also be a nightmare.

Good afternoon Topix people!
Let me be candid for a moment.
Many of you think I probably have no life with my daily worthless diatribes.
Iím fully aware of this and continue to read all the insults and innuendo that are directed at me.
The bottom line is this:
NOBODY CARES WHAT I THINK!
I have to remind myself that reasonable people don't write ridiculous letters and online commentary, reasonable people have lives!
I infer that those (such as myself) who get into crazy mud-slinging, inflated egotistical irrelevant "arguments" against others are "unreasonable".
I will again leave you with this.
NOBODY CARES WHAT I THINK!

I hope you people are happy with this new law because it will lead to communism.......and on another note, I'm not gonna help watch over any of the white women that will be possessed to tap their feet by them reefer smoking darkies with their jazz and swing music.

Love this story. God bless this little girl. Best story I've seen about the benefits of medical marijuana. Altho I'm sure a few would much rather poison her with mountains of chemicals, aka manufactured medications.
