Absolutely! It's natures plant and it's harmless...it's really a sin not to legalize it. Why can't they make drinking illegal? It kills and kills...pot never does!

Legalize it, control it, tax it. I all for it. Let the cops focus their attention on the real problems facing our society.

I agree- legalize it, control it, and tax it. Alcohol ruins more lives than marijuana ever can, and alcohol is legal..

Yes! Legalize it, control it and tax it. The fact that alcohol is legal and marijuana is not.. and alcohol ruins more lives than marijuana EVER will. It baffles me.

Not all potheads are useless. My husband is bi-polar and we've found that the absolute best treatment for the manic phase is marijuana. Slows him down without all the nasty side effects of chemical drugs.

Marijuana was a medical drug before a recreational drug!

I wouldn't consider your husband a pothead. Legitimate medical use is a far cry from stoners.

You know, most people that smoke marijuana aren't the stereotypical lazy stoner, they're regular people like anybody else. The reason most people don;t know this is because most stoners are good at keeping it a secret.

drunks actually kill people...when you hear of an accident where pot was involved, usually they were drunk as well...and drunks can't hide the effects...alcohol is much, much worse.

You've never heard of bloodsports? The gladiators? Watched movies like the Running Man? The government could probably rake in the PPV dough by selling viewing rights to executions. Can't make money, huh.

No it's illegal , lets keep it that way. We have enough problems with the drunks on 173, we dont need to add pot to the mix.

The reason why MJ is illegal and will always be illegal is because MJ leads to other hard illegal drugs.
People getting arrested with MJ almost always have other illegal drugs on them.
You don't see druggies getting arrested with a bottle of Jim Beam in their back pocket.

And when asked how they got started down the road to hard drugs they always say they started with MJ.
Yeah booze is bad too but it don't lead a person down the road to sticking a needle in their arm.

Oh yeah its only for medical purposes. Well here's a surprise there's already states that allow that.
So go live there. Truth is damn few people would really benefit medically from it.
Lets be honest here most MJ posters in here want it for getting a high not for medical reasons.

But its so safe !! Yeah getting arrested sounds safe. If that's your idea of safe then it proves the point of what its doing to your mind.
Unless its legal it aint safe. Wake up and walk away from it.
Enjoy life, find a job you like doing, love someone who loves you, go where you always wanted to be. These are real highs MJ can't even begin to compare with.
