True, but some jobs don't except Medical Id cards or tolerate people who use Medical Marijuna for there needs. However, medical marijuana is regularly disallowed in jails and prisons.

CAN PATIENTS BE DRUG TESTED AT WORK? The California Supreme Court has ruled that employers have a right to drug test and fire patients who test positive for marijuana, regardless of their medicaluse (Ross v RagingWire, 2008). Some employers will excuse patients if they present a valid 215 recommendation. Others won’t. Marijuana use is never permitted in jobs with federal drug testing regulations, such as the transportation industry.

Because I don't support the ability to criminalize anything that then prevents in-depth study.

Tyson you make a great point here, I lost my spouse to cancer and mary j was the only real relief she got without being totally wacked on morphine which she hated, it made her sick. Even staff helped us in getting this positive natural aid into her treatment, if she had the FREEDOM to address this issue of extreme pain legally, it would have provided even a more relaxing comfort in the last chapter of her life. Thank You your words ring of truth and thats a comfort to me, Thanks again.

Freedom - the right to do or not do whatever you want to do unless you are bothering or somebody else.

The role of government is to protect freedom. That is what our forefathers fought and put their lives on the line for, so we wouldn’t have a dictator or tyrant. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.
