It is a plant, it doesn't cause cancer, and even the American Medical Assoc. supports it. As a nurse i see many uses for it.

I like the idea of legalization, but what concerns me is the effects at the workplace.

Not the gate way thing again. Look around you,its easy to figure out. Legal, make it legal. Stop the drug cartels dead in there tracks. Let the government control it. Tax it. Jobs.

Only an ignorant fool would oppose legalization of marijuana compared to alcohol being legal! Hell of alot worse and the evidence supports that statement

Hi you do not know me but I have many postings asking for help from any nurse concerning my lost brother. Anyway I can not get into the nurse directory to locate a nurse who is with my brother Delbrian Arley Mcmayon. I moved from gal over Hur Ike and they had the big flood in Coffeyville,ks and moved too. I never asked for anybodys personal info, just to find the nurse living with my brother and give them the phone no of mine. Her name is Robin Elaine Bell and according to the lic verifications she shows up in NM lpn201205 is her no born 11-7-62. If I could of found where she works I could call her. Could not so if a nurse would just look her up and pass on my info to her...I would be so grateful and so would Arley. Will you help?

I really don't think it should be up to the Government to tell me that I can't smoke an herb that comes literally right out of the ground and into my pipe. It hss been proven that Cannabis buds actually have far fewer carcinogens than Tobacco and it has been proven that Cannabinoids promote the death of Cancer cells, where as Nicotine (as we all know) is proven to cause Cancer over time. I just don't understand how our Government, who is supposed to have our best interest in mind, want to put citizens behind bars for choosing the safer alternative to Tobacco!

Weed is a totally natural herb, it was used by the chinese as early as 2000 B.C.! Plus there are no reported cases of death by overdose or under the influence of marijuana, that have been recorded, Alchohol kills more people yet its legal, lets weigh the odds on that shall we?

Gate way to what? All the states that have legalized medical marijuana very soon will have populations all addicted to crack? Because Pot is illegal it is likely to place one in the company of dealers and others who use illegal drugs. Don’t get me wrong I don’t recommend the use of Pot. The first ones who would fight to keep Marijuana illegal would be the innocent uninformed, drug cartels and dealers. It has no place in the work place or in schools.
