That is saying it is okay to descriminate. I am teaching my children it's not.Is it okay to pull over a black person with a nice car or a white person in a prominatly black neighborhood? No, it's not.s, in my opinion, is the same thing.

Really? That is not the subject at hand. Do you have children that you are telling this is okay to or are you too busy making sure every word is spelled correctly to teach them morals?

I got lost in DC in the middle of the night and somehow ended up in the projects. The cop thought the only reason a white person would be in that neighborhood at that time of night was to buy crack. Racially profiled? Yup. Another time I was pulled over because the vehicle I drove matched that of the DC sniper the night the last victim was killed. Vehicular Profiling? Yup. If eyewitnesses to a bank robbery said the robber was an Asian woman the police arent going to be looking for a black, white or Hispanic man.
Profiling is a matter of fact. It is not discrimination.
To teach your kids otherwise is lying to them.

You took what I said way out of context. Having worked for the PD I understand what you are saying and agree; however, these people don't have to be doing anything wrong or appear to be in the "wrong" area. I do agree they should have their green cards, pay taxes and speak our language. I just don't think it is acceptable to pull someone over because they might not be from here. What about the legal hispanic running late for the job he payes taxes at pulled over is late to work and writen up or fired?

Have you actually read the AZ law?
The police can NOT simply stop and question any Hispanic they want. They have to have cause. If youve worked for the PD then you know all of what "cause" entails.
Please stop listening to the wild fabrications of Chris Mathews and his ilk.
Incidentally, Prince William County in northern VA was the 1st municipality in the country to enact virtually the same law as Arizona's 3 years ago. According to the County Supervisor, aside from the exodus of illegals, they have seen a 38% reduction in violent crime.
Phoenix is ranked as the 2cd highest kidnapping capital of the world. If questioning people about their immigration status is going to help reduce this, then it's totally worth it.

I do agree,if questioning people about their immigration status is going to help reduce this, then it really is totally worth it and I am all for it; however, the illegal hispanic are not the only ones commiting these crimes. The law should be expanded to all races not target one. I have seen plenty of slime usually white or black. The illegals seem to want to remain unseen for obvious reasons.

Unfortunately slime comes in all colors. No, not all crime in Phoenix is committed by hispanics.....however the drug wars involve mostly mexicans and the kidnapping title is definitely a mexican trait. Traditionally they have tried to keep under the radar but I think several things are going on that have brought them into the highlight as of late.#1, thanks to groups like La Raza the arrogance of the illegals is growing by leaps & bounds mostly because they know the Feds wont do anything.#2, with the economy in such shambles at the moment people are starting to get really touchy about where their monies go and seeing such a large and continually growing group scam their way through the entitlement circles is cause for growing anger.#3, it's easy to blame the illegals because the job market sucks so much right now, but what people dont realize is the illegals are not finding so much work either.#4 I believe Obama is setting the stage for blanket amnesty which will dramatically increase his voter base....

You make perfect sense and pointed out things I didnt realize were such an issue in AZ. Thank you for taking the time to explain your points and listen to mine, unlike most people I read on this forum critizing and not having an open mind or talking the time to help open someone elses.

I think we mostly agree with each other. Thank you as well for being equally courteous.

Vehicular profiling and Racial profiling are not the same dummy! And you gotta be one stupid white person to get lost and end up in the projects! Every whitey knows where the blacks live and definately avoid it! My summation is that you were going to buy crack! Racial profiling is targeting a specific race. Your example of an Asian woman robbing a bank is poor! Racial profiling is more of assuming that most or all Asian women rob banks so when a bank is robbed, authorities target Asian women first...you are so dumb!(But I hope I have enlightened your stupid ass...)

My question is this, and it may be off-topic, but if we are going to "enforce" laws, why don't we start with pedophiles? Or is it because of the fact that the "racial profile" of these people are mostly white men and women that we do not...if white people would stop pointing the finger at other races and look at all the problems they create perhaps they would not be so judgemental and blaming...
