ILLEGAL means ILLEGAL!!!!! We were a country of laws and soon we won't be if we don't do something about this. We have a Marxist President and illegals telling us what to do. Take our country back before it is too late.

It opens the door for racial profiling and abuse of minorities. It is fine to check the status of those actually arrested for felonies, but is not justified for every traffic stop. A member of my family was pulled over and accused of throwing a cigarette butt out the window, despite the fact that he has never smoked and had a clean ashtray. The real reason he was pulled over, questioned, and intimidated was that he is a minority. The Arizona law gives free license to that kind of abuse.

Illegals have ruined a number of jobs in the construction field because of cheep labor and employment by illegaly working and living in this country. The drywall buisness is an example for one. The wages used to be good for the ammount of physical labor that is required to accomplish task. My uncle and even some friends have felt this impact extreemly. Now most employers its amazing if an individual can make over $12 dollars an hour. Many people have families that have to rely on construction jobs because of employers hiring cheep illegal labor. I don't blame the Mexicans, but I do blame the employers that hire these guys just to save a dollar and further dammage the income levels so that a true American family can not make the wages that should come with the job.

When you are caught as an illegal immigrant in another country, you go to a prison camp, are deported, serve time in jail, or are shot! In this country, when you enter illegally, you get a driver's licence, a job, health care...etc.

What is wrong with this picture?

With Senator Patty Murray In office she is allowing Illigals to come into this state and give them the right to get a driver licenses when they Can't they even read the road signs. This allows them to run freely around our state seeking our jobs. Senator Murray is all for immigration and chain migration witch allows illigals to come here to have there anchor babies then bring there aunts, uncles, mom's and dads and every relative they have here to washington state where they can live off of every tax paying person here in this state and on top of that allowing McDonalds and other businesses to pay them under the table. So on top of there welfare and all there free money from our pockets plus tax free working money from busineses,we are paying millions on top of millions of tax dollars to make illigals feel right at home.Right now there are over 145,000 illigals here in washington state maybe more since this number was added in 2006,we are #11 on the National list (washington state)for illigals.Senator Patty murray Must be voted out of office. If you want to see her stats on immigration, check out this site http://profiles.numbersusa.com/improfile.php3... and don't forget to check out her F- on her report card on her Immigration actions.
I Support Arizona's new Immigration Laws and wish to adopt it here in washington state as well.

I agree with you.Im in the remodeling trade and to add to the drywall part I passed an appartment construction project early in the morning one day and found a large group of mexicans (probbly all illigals) standing and squatting in circles with there tapeing knives waiting for the contractor to arrive. So yes I agree they are here to take every job and every cent from us illigaly and when there done they will move to the next project and the next and the next.

I am running the initiative to enforce immigration laws. And when a woman tells me she is against it because her mom and dad and aunts and uncles are illegal and she is afraid it will take away her (illegal) dads Social Security Disability payments, HELL YES I HAVE A PROBLEM!!! My brother has a disabling bone disease and he fought for 3 years to get his. In the mean time he lost his house, his wife and his truck. It took a lawyer and 3 years of his life to get what HE PAID FOR all his working life. They come in, Russians, Mexicans, etc... and are draining our country from the inside out. It needs to stop. We have laws in effect for a reason. So we can control our population, not drain our resources, take care of your own before we take care of others. We have children going to bed every night that are hungry, uneducated, parents that want to work, our children spending years in college to come out to no jobs!!! Something has to give. We have to shut those barn doors that we let stay open to long. No one has a problem with immigrants. We all were at one time. But why is it some seem to do it the right way! They are sick of those ILLEGALS also. The key word is ILLEGAL.. Do you want drug dealers selling drugs in front of your house?? NO. Then why is this law any different! I have no problem siging my name. I am an American and still proud to stand and fight for my freedoms and my rights!!!!!

Wake up and realize in how the rest of the world would treat you or your family if you illegally went into Mexico, China, or wherever. This great country is so great and open that it is being taken advantage of. How many Guatemalans were shot walking into Mexico illegally? homey

In reading the law, it is really no different than what was on the books before the media blew this out of context. Where was the oposition last year? Do people realise that the police already had the right and authority to ask for papers? People, do some research before giving in to the hype.

This state allows illegals to get food assistance, welfare, medical, housing and drivers licenses and they are ILLEGAL, I had a hard time to get my new drivers license when I returned to this state and I was BORN and Raised here, they said I had to prove residency though I was staying with my sister at the time going to school but Illegals can rent and get utility bill and a fake ssn card and they can get a drivers license. GO FIGURE.... Oh it cost Washington State over 14 million dollars a year for interpreter services..What a waste of money

As Immigrant myself, I know how hard it to get legal status in this country. federal gov. failed and the state have right to enforce its laws since are the ones who assume consequences for illegality. they have to deal with crimes, put burdens of tax payers for medical and welfare as well as schools. Those opposing the law don't love america.Everyone should go online for residence as it is hard on me. Why some people should be treated unfairly? The USCIS deport those who have chosen to foll the proces and divide families while awaiting for many years to be reunited from abroad. We come here, we pay tax like all citizens, and someone cross the border and later after years claims right while we pay to keep them and the federal Gov. plays a game? Why they don't fix the border first and those who are here illegally be deported as USCIS does to those who chose to be cleared and become unsuccessful? That's amnesty and once you give free legal residence you are encouraging them to flock from the border. I support Arizona law. I am a black and immigrant and know how hard it is to get residence in this nation. Unfortunately, Washington replace the law with politics. their focus is not on America, but the electoral votes they can get from hispanics who are most majority of this problems. The Feds instead supporting and restoring the integrity of american people, it went ahead and start to sue Arizona, that's a problem I have with liberals who care nothing else that a seat they can get. They can not create jobs, they can not secure a nation, they can not build families, they are only interested in increasing taxes in order to pay liberal life style like abortion, destroying the legacy of American educational,Military and legal Systems. They took advantage from poor and use them to advance their political agenda while the legacy of American founding fathers is fading away.

I believe Arizona is enforcing a law that was put in place years ago. Something has to be done with illegal immigration. I dont agree that our government should inter fear with the affairs of the states.

I don;t know why you americans don't eyes to see. I don't know why you fights against good among your self? I think all states in the union should follow AZ bravely and do the right job. I see every day people presenting their IDs at the point of purchase for drugs, alcohol, tobacco to verify the right age or identity for credit cards and many other regular business. i don't hear people complaining about showing these docs when they go to night clubs and i have never heard Feds come out strongly against that. These basics laws exist to keep society in order and safe. Those who are against AZ law are motivated by selfish political gains. They don't care if the nation is bank rupted and streets are full of crimes and tax payers suffers to keep up with the heavy demand of illegal immigration while they struggle for ends met for their families as long as these individuals fighting against the practicability of the law have a seat in a political seat or they fear to loose their financial donors. I am immigrant too and I know how hard and costly it is to adjust residence in this nation. We come here, we pay tax, we pay a heavy fee for immigration fees and USCIS get harder on the ones who choose to go on line while they get easy to those who broke the law and even the admin. give them a support by suing the state that is doing a right job. This is silly.

The best solution to illegal immigrants in the states is to allow them legal, so they can pay taxes like all of us. Right now, they get free benefits from the states; from medical to wellfare. They need to contribute. Everyone need to pay taxes, why do we need to make separate and label them. Government should close all the doors for new immigration entrance, take time to legalized all the immigrants in the states. They've lived here for over 5 to 10 years, but yet, not contributing to the majority. Blahh....
