The drug dealers are bringing their drug war into our country and we just keep turning a blind eye to what is happening well they will gladly blind us for good if we keep doing that and unfortunately it will affect those just trying for a better future for themselves and their families.

How? You have to be stopped for a probable cause first. Read the law please. It is already a federal law, this law just gives Arizona the right to enforce a law already their. I guess we should just let anyone who breaks the law walk then. Screw the justice system.

Why would the Justice Department threaten to sue Arizona if it's a federal law? What justice system?

it is a federal law that has been on the books for 10 years. Arizona is just the first of a soon to be many to enforce a law that should have been enforced long ago.

Is this the same people that have made all these comments about the law, like our Attorney General, and still have not read the law? The JD cant sue for a law that is already in tact for over a decade can they? If you are here illegal and enjoying more benefits then a taxpayer, your ass needs to be deported no matter what country you come from. I would be proud to show my proof of US citizenship to any authority in Arizona. Any LEGAL American citizen should, knowing that they are checking to help save us money from supporting millions of leaches, helping to keep the Mexican drug war out of the US, helping to keep our citizens safe, ect. Are you a legal citizen?

Write to the Justice Department and let them know you object to the proposed lawsuit.

"Justice Department considers suing Arizona to block immigration law."

I wouldn't count on that. Arizona is feeling the negative financial repercussions of this new pending law to take effect soon. The Governor of Arizona is not ready to admit that she made a bad decision for the state. Any other state(s) that follow suit, will have to deal with the same effects and consequences. It's a no brainer. In the end, I believe that changes in immigration will take effect. Will the changes mirror Arizona's pending law? NO!

I'll leave this conversation with this final note....

Article 67 of Mexico’s General Population Law states:“Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal ... are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues.” Illegal immigrants are considered felons in Mexico and if caught, may be subject to two-year prison sentences. Those illegal immigrants that have already been deported and attempt to reenter can serve up to ten years in Mexican jails.

If you do not like the law in Arizona, then don't live there.

What part of Illegal needs to be debated?? If it's illegal for mexican nationals to be here without following proper procedures it's illegal. If it is mexican nationals transporting the drugs, killing americans, etc. why wouldn't anyone want those checked out?? The politically correct excuse has to stop somewhere....how many lives is it worth to continue to say we are a politically correct nation???

What rock have you been hiding under? Illegal immigrants come in all races. Not just mexican. To single one race out is racist. I'd rather have illegal immigrants in the U.S., than racist bigots.

I think a rock fell on your head. If mexicans...from mexico are bringing drugs from mexico into the U.S. how many more clues do you need to know what kind of people to be looking for?? How is it racist?? If you lived on the border....you'd be terrified about illegal imigrants lerking outside your window; but since you don't; you don't care about it. You'd be one of the first to accuse the government of not protecting you and your family if it was suspected it was an illegal alien....from mexico.

Atta girl Cynthia! We'll just send all the illegals to your house and YOU can support them. BTW, I haven;t seen anything that says "Illegal MEXICAN immigrants", just the term "Illegal Immigrants" which includes ANYONE from ANY country who is here illegally.

Apparantly, your eyesight is failing you. If you count the total number of times the term "mexican" is used, the result is 6, not including the term "mexico", "illegal aliens from mexico", etc. Is is that difficult to comprehend that it is only "mexicans" being discussed here? I'm well aware of the definition of "Illegal Immigrants". I don't need someone like you that is blindsided, to explain the definition. Furthermore, you stated that "This country can no longer afford to support 20 million illegals." However, you failed to state that this country also supports legal Americans as well. What do you propose this country do about supporting legal Americans?

How cute. The reigning Gay Queen known as Red Dawn has taken on another new screen name of JACKIE. Must be his drag name, since he is gay. Your post is such a dead giveaway. Same crappy words, mispellings, etc. Enough with your "cesspool" crap. It's such an obvious clue. No point in denying. All anyone has to do is go back and read your posts under Red Dawn and Charles Townsend. They mirror each other precisely. Grow up gay sicko!

Hmmm. I should have known I was dealing with a sick one. My suspicions were true. Your right "say what", almost identical postings under different screen names. Especially the "cesspoll" quote. Indeed obvious. He seriously needs help. Such a pity.
