Do you support Arizona's immigration law?
#1 May 22, 2010
It's about time. Murder and living in fear is not a option. The residents of the borders have a right to live a healthy life instead of livivng in fear. I have nor problem with immigrint as long as they are legal pay taxes like everyone else, also they need to cracked down on the companies that hire them and treat them like s**t they should lose all rights

The law mirrors federal law which is not enforced.
AZ had no choice and had to take steps to protect it's border and people.
Obama needs to step up and do his part instead of dividing the nation.

Obey the law.
A nation without boarders is no longer a nation.
Unfortunately it is too late, we are being invaded and they are made yo look like the victim.
Amnesty will be granted for 12 million and the next wave will start.
Another sad reality is most don't desire to assimilate.
Ever go to Costco or M Mall? It is all Indians Asians and Hispanic all speaking there own language. America as we knew it is lost.

Not yet, amigo . The election changed the landscape. The Socialist Democrats in the House (the few left) are running scared . They have seen what happens when the will of the people is ignored . ObUma can do the Executive Order bit but the Republicans control the purse strings and can make life miserable for him . Don't give up , we will see. ARREST and DEPORT.

I really hope you are right.
Interesting news.... California just passed a law allowing illegals in state tuition to colleges.
With all if the perks and kind heart of America it is no wonder they jump the boarder.

I saw 2 lawyers last night on TV and both were saying that law will be overturned at the Supreme Court. The major portion of the Arizona law is being upheld at the 9th (gasp) Circuit Court in SF(gasp). The last hope for the Socialist Democrats to stay in power is to allow the swarm of ILLEGALS to continue and to hell with this country . Nice bunch of traitors , those Socialist Democrats.

Immigration is a problem, yes, but I am sick and TIRED of you bigoted and hypocritical Republicans referring to illegals as scum.
THEY ARE PEOPLE TOO! I agree immigration is a problem, but think for a moment. Think about the crime in Mexico. Most of these people are trying to protect their families. ALSO, America at its core, was invaded by the Pilgrims aka immigrants, and so the native language was originally Native American. ALL OF YOU descended from immigrants.
@Vet: You don't want them speaking their own language? How about the people descended from Ireland or Italy? They speak Italian and Gaelic all the time! And don't get me started on how most people view Asians. Asians for the most part keep quiet about how they're treated. But if you're Asian and have been in this country for a while, and their children were born and raised in the USA, they still get treated as second-class citizens.
I am speaking my mind because I felt my opinion needed to be heard to prevent this thread from becoming a biased ANTI-ILLEGAL-ANTI-DEMOCRAT thread. Thanks for opening this thread and good day.

I for one, believe that we should stop illegal immigration, but we should do it in a way that coincides with our own Constitution. We are a country FOUNDED on taking the downtrodden in. You may disagree with my own personal beliefs, BUT they are MY personal belief.
And I'm not going to use the internet to figuratively scream an argument that is such a political hotbed. I wish you the best in your beliefs and have a good day.
Oh, and by the way, has anyone else noticed that Whites Road Park is LOVELY with all its "diverse" trees?

If they come in an orderly legal fashion obey the law learn English then there is and will be no problem.
The problem I have is the victim role and the race card. Just do it the right way, the legal way and Americans will embrace them.

There are plenty of people who aren't illegals that break the law and there are plenty of people who aren't minorities who don't bother to learn English. While I agree learning English is what they need to learn, mostly, I also see where you're coming from with people playing the victim role.
But as many people there are playing the victim role and the race card, there are just as many people, if not more, playing the minorities-are-invaders card or ignorance card.
But there is ignorance all around, I admit. My father is about as Caucasian as you can get, his ancestors coming from both Ireland and Hungary, and because he is an older white male (in his 70s now), most minorities assume he is a bigoted well-off white guy. They are SHOCKED when they see me and my sister (half-Asian) and discover that he is in fact, a conservative, hard-working Democrat without an ounce of racism in him.
Thank you for replying to my comment civilly and I appreciate your opinion,
