It has become obvious that Mexico has no incentive to develop a viable economy. Mexico's ruling class needs an incentive to stop its poorest people to go abegging from the neighbors. I am certain there are political forces (North American and Mexican)that have supported and engineered the current tragic welfare economy that is Mexico, however, I think it is time to make a change. It is an obvious injustice to expect any of the United States to support and care for the entire uneducated and poor population of another country. It is also insulting to the Mexicans who are encouraged by their own government to prostitute themselves, and bring home the bacon, to their pathetic, antiquated ruling class.

This is another cycle of xenophobic behavior; unreal given our economic situation, and the demographics of America's aging population. Who will pay for social security in 25 years? Who will service the elderly population? Not pragmatic, and not realistic solutions; people are being led by misguided assumptions and displaced fear!

Not a realistic solution to changing global demographics and nation's economy, aging population. In fact, Arizona is the 'oldest' state followed by Iowa. What are the snowbirds and aging residents going to do when their nurse or daily aide is from Mexico -- or the Phillipines? It's also interesting to see that US economy is causing folks to look elsewhere for jobs. Did you know that Americans are now living and working in China, Mexico, Brazil and other countries?

Hate and ignorance is impeding the ability to address the economic decline of US and think thorugh our common future! Ridiculous to continue this cycle of hatred and ill-conceived actions. Find out the REAL FACTS! Become an informed citizen and not a gullible hater!

More liberal BS from the loons on the left. The default position is always, "those mean old haters." This is old, worn out BS. To expect ILLEGALS to obey our immigration laws in NO way involves "hate." Americans have always worked in foreign countries, LEGALLY. ARREST and DEPORT ILLEGALS.

Adding a 3rd world country to the welfare rolls won't help either.

"Study: 70% of Texas’ illegal immigrant families receive welfare

Thirteen years after Congress overhauled the American welfare system, 57 percent of immigrants with children &#151 those in the country legally or not &#151 use at least one government, welfare program according to a report released Tuesday by the Center for Immigration Studies.

In comparison, 39 percent of native-born Americans with children are signed up for welfare, the report found.

In Texas, 54 percent of legal immigrants and 70 percent of illegal immigrants receive welfare assistance, with illegal immigrants generally receiving benefits on behalf of their U.S.-born children, according to the study, written by a think tank that favors reducing immigration into the U.S.

Overall, Texas tied with California and New York for the second highest immigrant welfare rates behind Arizona."
