Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant'
Is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'

A drug salesman goes into a doctor's office with an addictive and dangerous substance which nobody really wants to take. He gives free samples to the doctor along with literature and some neat pens. The drug dealer is found on the street corner with addictive and dangerous substances which people very much want to take and does not have neat pens.

Yes, totally different.

In this country the Cuban can travel to the US and be instantly admitted for no reason at all. The Mexican has to sneak in and be inconspicuous. Political? Well, let's try to imagine what would happen if someone showed up in Mexico and announced that the US would accept anyone who managed to reach the shore, as was done in Cuba some years ago. Do you think anyone might come? Do you suppose it might be more than came from Cuba?

I don't know that I have ever met a drug dealer socially so I have no opinion about them personally, how can I. I do know a number of Mexicans socially and I find them to be honest and decent people. I am going way out on a limb here and guess that you don't know any Mexicans and don't speak the language.

It strips constitutional protections from US citizens. You'll love it when you get nailed for being "illegal".

I know a lot of Mexicans, good honest hard working Mexicans and they are LEGAL. No, I do not speak the language but un poco. I live in the U.S.A. not Mexico. Now smart guy, check my previous post and you will see I never made reference to any race. If you are illegal you are illegal. You are violating the law. Hasta la bye bye.

Well, if you know them you know they are good folks. Why would I go prying into their personal documents? Nobody is required to show me any papers. You never showed us any proof that you are in the country legally, did you?? You never showed us any papers to prove that you aren't a fugitive from some other state either. You probably can't prove you aren't wanted for skipping bail in Mississippi. You probably can't produce papers to show you paid your taxes in 1973. People don't have to carry around a bunch of documents in a free country.

I have a BIRTH CERTIFICATE form a state in the USA. I do have my 1973 tax return and if your Sheriff Joe wants to fingerprint me and send it to NCIS or the FBI to see if I am wanted, NO PROBLEM. Find out when the bus leaves, only the Grandmas will miss you

You confuse yourself by the repetition of the word, "illegal," In context the term is not particularly accurate and is simple a nonce term of choice in the US, other more descriptive terms being used elsewhere. You could just as well be "illegal" if you have a warrant against you in some other jurisdiction. It is said that Sheriff Arpayo has something like ten thousand warrants that he has not bothered to serve and in stead spends his time chasing undocumented migrants. Maybe he should do something about the criminals instead of harassing working people from Mexico.

Please name a few countries where you do not have to carry documents. I have traveled to many countries and have always had to carry documents that show I am there legally or face being brought down to some head quarters and held until all can be sorted out.

It is the law and should be supported by all. If you are against it you probably have something to hide. If you like the US and want to stay here then do it the right way like all of the others have done. Don't comment the crime and then start the crying. Go to other countries around the world (including Mexico)and see how may times you have to show your documents.
