The US is the only country that fails to enforce immigration laws. What part of illegal do they refuse to understand? It's a slap in the face to legal immigrants. This country and its taxpayers can not afford the services given freely to the illegals.

Arizona has acted in self-defence, as th federal government has abdicated its responsibility to protect and defend the constitution which requires the enforcement of border security laws. What if the federal government chose not to enforce the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the states passed their own laws to protect the rights of minorities?

As long as the Cuban Adjustment Act remains, there won't be a problem. All others are not welcome.

I agree. We are all immigrants. It's the people coming here illegally that is creating a problem. If people can get across the border illegally, they are given free health care, food stamps, WIC checks, free education for their children, they don't have to pay taxes, etc. All these things that they are getting for free are paid for with tax money that has been collected from the rest of us. The more people needing assitance, the more taxes are needed to cover the costs.
Medical care is expensive, but not if you show up at an emergency room with no real identification. Hospitals cannot refuse to treat anyone. The cost of schools is going up because more schools are needed because of the increase in the number of students, quite a few are from "illegal" families.
The cost of products is going up because most packaging is in both English & Spanish. And jobs are becomming fewer for some because companies are looking for workers who are bi-lingual.
If I was here illegally, I would not want amnesty!! It would mean I would have to start paying!

The state is doing what the federal govt is failing to do. This is part of the reason why the right to bear arms shall not be infringed.

In any other country you can be approached for any reason. Police and Military can ask for your papers @ any time. They carry machine guns and inspect your legal status. Why is it any different here in the US? Immigration is what is making this country go down the tubes..

The Titanic huh? Man, that's the funniest thing i've heard all week. Sad thing is, you were completely honest and sincere when you wrote it and probably still don't get why i'm laughing at you. Just another PRIME EXAMPLE of the ignorance that goes along with the average illegal alien in this country.
