All Arizona did was re-affirm Federal Law. The same law the O`Bama Administration refuses to enforce. To be fair previous administrations have also refused to secure our Southern Borders. I believe given the cost to all States with illegals living in them as well as gang affiliation and crime rates involving illegals it`s time to clamp down on our border. Just the other day the Fed`s notified Texas that an unknown number of Somalli Terrorists have entered Texas from Mexico. Makes one wonder how many other terrorists have entered the U.S. through Mexico. The Feds also stated that illegals from Iraq,Paskistan,Iran and Afghanistan among others have also entered our country through Mexico. Our border needs to be sealed ASAP. Illegals need to be rounded up and shipped back to their country of orgin and let it be known next time they will receive a miniumin of 5 years in prison no exceptions.
Arizona is right and the majority of Americans support Arizonas law. Every State needs to adopt this law.
One more thing on illegals. After Katrina while locals and local businessmen were refused the opportunity to rebuild New Orleans and the surrounding Parrishes, outside business contractors hired thousands of illegals to do the rebuilding ar decent wages. At one point an illegal spokesperson said they were in Lousiana to stay. and today there a still thousands of illegals there who took and are still taking the jobs from the legal residents of Lousiana resident who are real American Citizens. A crying shame for people who have and with this devastating oil leak from the Horizon oil platform will continue to suffer for years to come.

there isn't enough to go around. it's 10 times harder to get a building permit in this country than to get social services that we hand out like jelly beans to illegals.

From 2006 to 2008, President George W. Bush made a larger deployment of Guard troops under a program called Operation Jump Start. At its peak, 6,000 Guard troops at the border helped build roads and fences in addition to backing up law enforcement officers.

Those Guard troops contributed to the arrest of more than 162,000 illegal immigrants, the rescue of 100 people stranded in the desert and the seizure of $69,000 in cash and 305,000 pounds of illicit drugs
