people are plundering our resources here and not paying fed or state income taxes. These benefits are not free. Going after the employers that dodge taxes by paying under the table has raised our taxes higher. The tax base has not been evenly distributed. Look at California. It's not just Latins that are illegal, you got Irish, Polish, Russian, African, Asian and so on.

National security depends partly on secure and controlled borders. Especially with today's global threats we want to do what is best for law abiding American citizens and protect their constitutional rights, including ones in Arizona. Further, we currently see an huge wave of lawlessness and uncontrolable violence sweeping Mexico. We should not allow these homegrown Mexican problems spill on US soil under any circumstances!
