Papers shmapers! Who needs papers? Why shouldn’t they be allowed to stay? So what if there are millions of people who’ve met our immigration requirements waiting patiently at the door who want to gain entry legally. Too hell with them. If some illegal was smart enough to sneak in and get away with it, we should reward him by letting him stay. He’s just the kind of immigrant we want. Who needs doctors and teachers and engineers who’ve chosen to take the legal route to get into the U.S.. when we can fill our immigration quotas with illegal entries. Why would we want to play fair? We want the illegal guys because they have the honesty and moral qualities we’re looking for in our immigrants. Right? I say, leave the legal immigration applicants waiting at the door forever. At this particular time in our history, we really need illegal immigrants badly, and it we let the ones who are here stay, it will be so much easier to attract more illegal immigrants in the future.
