Obamas' decree that there is no inflation thus no increase in SS payments is absurd. Prices are up 25-50% and in addition, packaged quantities are down 20-25%.

i only buy on line-- free shipping on most items- no tax's--to L.A. or CAL...i refuse to pay for a fascist state...don't get mad-get even...boycott los angeles and the state... enjoy your holidays out of state.

I guess the 2% or so COLA I received doesn't really exist! Good thing I didn't spend any of it so far!

It actually comes out to several thousand dollars for my family, per month.

I spent less than previous and still had a wonderful holiday.

However, I think most of the pople I know charged most gifts.

If you want o spend less to get great deals, why don't you guys try coupons? http://www.discountsguide.com/ provides free coupons and discounts for leading online stores. Try that to save money.

I may have to travel to Europe.Now everything is planned, find information, develop routes.My friends and I went to many countries in Asia last year.Next target is Europe.hope we would have a nice trip.BTW may life motto is : enjoy travel enjoy life .

I agree that as you age, you have most of the things you need already, so there's less reason to desire or accept gifts. However, at Christmas time, there's still always kids in the family you can spoil. :)

its the holidays and as in past years i plan to be nice to the most importent person in my life me,myself,and i and yes i will spoil myself and enjoy my holidays its one of the joys of life for me i owe it too my self happy holidays merry chrirtmas too me .i also spoil my self with something for new years start 2013 off right.
