Obamas health care plan is a can of worms. I want nothing to do with it.

The Gov has tried to run Amtrac, US Postal Service, Veterans Admistration, and on and on, they have never succeeded, ever. What makes us think they can run health care?

The mess was already here. I don't know if the "reform" package - after everyone has pulled it apart & reassembled it is better or worse. Unfortunately, I think that those yelling the loudest are doing so from a -"I got mine, too bad for you" position, instead of an informed one. For me, as a senior building, multi-housing landlord, I have observed the rationing of health care the last 14 years. The rationing has been based on the ability to pay big & bigger bucks. Unless you are very rich, eventually you or someone you love will have be blocked from basic care. Maybe they are already and you still forget that we are indeed supposed to be our brother's keepers.
If you live long enough you will be set aside, with your broken hip to die. Pretty crappy, because the current elderly & aging babyboomers are the folks that have picked up the high costs of developing medical & medicine advancement that if used for them would improve their quality of life.

It is a step forward. We have been discussing if most of my life (and I am am a senior adult & have registered Rep. all of my voting life.) As a Party, I think that the onging, beligerant displays of hatered for others has certainly proved that we are not the "moral majority". I challenge othr Presbyterians to get the message out - "don't hate".

At least Obama is standing up against all those insurance companies that have been discriminating patients left to rights. What did Bush do besides creating this economic chaos?
