What have they gotten their hands on that ends up costing only what they say it will. If they can't run "Cash for Clunkers" without issue, how can they even try to suggest that this won't be a disaster.

Reform is needed, not a wholesale rebuild of the entire structure that they are proposing.

Tort reform, sale of insurance over state lines and a host of other measures would go a long way in controlling costs.
