Elizabeth - low cost insurance is available. My son pays $100 per month to Kaiser and can visit the clinic as many times as needed and be directed to whatever specialists are needed.
The Obama administration has now admitted there are not 50 million un-insured. The true number of those who actually cannot afford insurance is around 10 million. A simple voucher system could take care of them.
We do not need 20+ new federal agencies and billions of dollars of YOUR tax money being spent on this program.

Hope and Change?
If health care reform is so important, why are all the "effective dates" in the legislation 2013 - 2015. Right after the next presidential election, where they think 0 will have been re-elected.
Then the massive tax increases will hit the middle class like a sledge hammer.

I work so that my family will have health insurance. Next year it will cost more and the benefits will be less. I'm not working and paying more taxes so that some lazy sloth can get free insurance.
