2 That's a retarded statement. If countries that are not as economic wealthy as the US can do it, then why not. Again, greed and selfishness. |

2 Then support the republicans with free market solutions to the issue. NOT a gov't takeover of something as important as our healthcare. We know the gov't is GROSSLEY incompetent, inefficient, and ineffective in everything it gets into. Social Security, bankrupted by gov't. Medicare, bankrupted by gov't. Medicade, banrupted by gov't. Denial of energy independence by gov't. OUR economy in shambles due to gov't involvment in the private sector and manipulating the market through gov't programs. The list is endless. If you really want effective, efficient, AFFORDABLE healthcare for as many AMERICANS as possible DO NOT SUPPORT THE GOV'T PLAN! |
I think people have the right to affordable health-care.
People do have a right to health care as well as food clothing and shelter. They just need to pay for it, Get a job and stop demanding the workers pay for your lazieness, Or soon there will be no workers we will join the lazy and wait to see who pays for our freebies.

2 Speaking of retarded you certainly are. Why is it wrong to work hard to EARN a living and not want to have the government take your hard earned money and give it to the lazy? How long will it take untill the workers realize it is better to be lazy and suck off the taxpayers? Who will pay for your freebies when we all stop working? |

My brother in law just moved here from Britan he has told me many horror stories about socialized medecine. And the rediculious tax burden it causes. And Boy Canada must be doing something right thats why many of their citizens come to America to get care even when they already paid for care in Canada thru their taxes. |

1 Have you check how "well" other countries are doing this? There are many who come from Canada just to have surgeries here. I have a Canadian friend who lives in Florida. After waiting for over a year, her father recently died waiting for his turn to have a pace maker installed. Based on the polls I've found, upto 45% of physicians say they will leave the health care field if this plan goes into effect. Can you imagine how that is going to effect how long it will take to get seen by a doctor. |
