Obama is just a socialist. What country has actually passed government health care successfully?(None) Medicare is a mess. Clean that up first, then MAYBE we will consider the fantasy.

The World Health Organization rated the US number 37 in worldwide health systems. Most of the countries ranking better than the US are countries that employ socialized medicine. I know the list that I am referencing is 9 years old but there have not been any dramatic changes for the better. We can all agree that the whole system is a mess. If Obama gets everything he wants (which he almost certainly wont) and a public option for health insurance is passed, people can still keep their current health insurance. On a side note: people sound really unintelligent when calling Obama a "socialist" or "nazi" or whatever. He has some socialist ideas but I still don't understand why "socialism" is such a bad word. Isn't "socialism" how we pay for our police, fire departments, medicaid and medicare? I'm not trying to be smug, I'm seriously asking. Do I not understand the difference between tax dollars paying for police or paying for healthcare. Before anyone goes off on me and calls me a "liberal" please understand that I am not. I am not a member of either political "team" I get behind the person or idea that I feel is the best.

This is a huge tax on people and a huge increase in government spending. Also, the commerce clause of the constitution does not cover forcing people to have health insurance!

He is like a dictator is is trying to take over every aspect of our lives. The health debate is just one aspect. He stopped Humana from contacting its customers explaining how it would affect them. His administration goes after people that disagree with him. He is so full of himself it makes me sick.

I think Obama is all out for himself and does not care about us. My insurance is fine. It not not cover 100% but I get what I pay for and I don't want to have to pay for anyone else's.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Capricorn

Someone is being very pedantic and picky, and they'll soon drive you round the bend with frustration. They're splitting hairs about all sorts of petty problems, but unfortunately you won't be immune from this yourself. You might get caught up in needless details that don't really matter, or take everything that happens very personally. Try to be more objective.
