Read the bill - it's not about health care - it's about control; it looks as though the cost dumped on employees will be determined by your weight, cholesterol, and even if you go to a fitness center. Of course there are exceptions for those who have good reason for excessive weight and cholesterol - bureaucricies are good at being fair and impartial.
Anyone who supports this bill must be a masochist.
To add insult to injury, some that want HR3200 say those that don't want this obvious progressive/socialistic bill are scared for no good reason - these socialistic people want to take away our freedoms and insult us at the same time.

YEA! YEA! PELOSI’S DAY – Pelosi just announced that a public option would be in the healthcare bill – now maybe cousin IT can get the lifesaving hair removal he desperately needs. At last report people making over 150 thousand will be paying for this – this won’t hurt me. It may hurt my employer, but it won’t hurt me. BUT what do employers do when they are FORCED to pay higher taxes, they lay off people – but it won’t be me, I’ve worked for 20 years, I’m safe, and so is cousin IT. BUT what if my employer decides he is tired of this SOCIALISTIC DICTATORSHIP excuse of representation for the people? Then I’ll find a job somewhere else – there will be plenty of jobs – the economy’s on the mend; just like the stimulus has helped so many – we can believe what is heard from the current administration. RELAX – wait for the free health care – the Congress loves the poor, actually I should quit my low paying job, and not work – this will be the future GOOD LIFE. Let the money go to its proper owners – the poor for a change, instead of the rich.
BUT what if many more business move out of America, to a land that truly DOES offer hope? Or maybe they can’t escape the coming remaking of America – so they are FORCED to crumble under the forced laws, rules, and regulations – such as crap & taxHR2454, café standards for carsS1093, cash for kitchen appliances (when the future asks how could you let this happen, dumping MORE debt on us, we can reply – it just wasn’t acceptable to not get a new appliance), 2nd scumulus, employee free choice act/card check/what infor?,here, you got the union. There are more bills that fit the progressive/socialistic agenda, but there isn’t enough time to list all of them; and the bills that are considerate to peoples’ rights aren’t considered, because they just aren’t acceptable.
If there’s no private business to work for all we have is the government -*ell, cousin IT is on social services, he has to work anywhere work is available, even if it’s quality control at a new green, protect the anomie, cancer inducing plant – if there’s work you take it, or you don’t get social services. Presently we have the opportunity to work where we’re treated with respect, and if not, pursue happiness – which is STILL possible. Cousin IT says living off the government is good, you can get around there rules and regulations – maybe, if you’re involved in illegal prostitution, selling drugs, or a da* good liar -*ell, maybe you could get a job serving the current Congress. I’d better go watch Whos got talent, because this is starting to depress me.
This is all PANANOIA – none of this is going to happen – I read, and in the Animal Farm book, another dictatorship, fervently fought for, just took over the present dictatorship. What’s wrong with dictatorship, these bureaucratic people are smart; let them take care of me. I’ve got to turn on the TV and see what the smart ladies on The View have to say. Maybe America will ask the United Nations for help, and then none of us will ever have to think again. People can “make a difference”– by calling your reps – find sensible alternatives for problems – many representatives have developed sensible, helpful bills, below is a list of just some of these bills. There is a lot of corruption, and bills like the stimulus –(around one thousand pages, many reps. joking that there was not time to read it – putting people in debt for decades)– stimulating gov. ideals more than creating jobs, are what’s being considered now. at thomas-gov is a list of bills – type in your zip code to get list of your reps, and type in the state for reps in other states. The private sector should run healthcare, not the insurance companies, and definitely never the government.

Since 1994, ACORN has received more than $53 million in direct federal funding. And, bills passed this year could give ACORN access to as much as $10 billion more.
Democrats in Congress are finally wising up, voting overwhelmingly to stem the flow of your tax dollars to ACORN. The Census Bureau even severed its ties with ACORN for the 2010 Census. For months, I have fought to cut ACORN off from any more tax money. Using your money is a privilege and their repeated violations of the law and public trust mean they haven't earned that privilege. And Canadians cross the border to use our healthcare and people fly in from other countries to use our healthcare also. Coincidence or is our healthcare better. I'm sick of every loser out there taking money out of my paycheck! Talk to some Canadians or citizens of other countries with national health care and ask them if they're happy with the higher taxes that come out of their checks. I've heard Canadians say it's as high as 50% and as far as taxes you also can't deduct your mortgage interest there. Sure, they say it will not cost much but once that tax is there it will only increase. Glad we're still paying the parkway tolls that were supposed to only be temporary.

Critics of health care plan must be heard
On Thursday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats unveiled their final 2,000-page health care plan (HR 3962) after weeks of Democrat-only, closed-door negotiations.“Apparently, because this is health care legislation, the House Democrats thought doctor-patient confidentiality rules should apply to their secret negotiations,” Lynn said.“The voices of those opposed to a government takeover of health care have been shut out of this debate. We got a taste of how strongly people feel on this issue during the August town halls, and I think those voices that Pelosi ignored will be heard loudly in the coming days.” Lynn took issue with House Majority Leader’s Steny Hoyer’s assertion that the legislation meets an “urgent” need.“Republicans and Democrats agree that we have too many uninsured Americans and too many family tragedies related to health care costs,” Lynn said.“But let’s be clear: This legislation won’t meet those needs urgently. In fact, benefits don’t take affect for three more years. The only thing that the Democrats think is ‘urgent’ enough to enact immediately are the tax hikes and mandates that will kill off even more jobs in this ailing economy.” Lynn cites several tenets of the bill as problematic:$500 billion in cuts to Medicare, which Westmoreland sees as either ‘phantom cuts’ that will never take place or catastrophic for seniors’ health care coverage. Bill contains the word “shall” 3,425 times – that’s a lot of government mandates. Expanding eligibility for Medicaid, which will hike costs for budget-strapped state governments. Tax hikes on small business owners, whom we’re relying on to create new jobs in this economy. Mandates on business to provide coverage to all employees or face penalties, creating a “tax on jobs” that will lead to fewer jobs. There's NO serious medical liability reform. In fact, it gives states incentive to delay efforts to curb frivolous lawsuits. A government-run ‘public option’ that will eventually crowd out private plans, causing many Americans to lose their current coverage. The legislation’s financing will cost much more than advertised, placing yet another burden on our national debt. The legislation comes in below $1 trillion over 10 years only because 1) Democrats moved the cost of paying Medicare fees to doctors (more than $200 billion) into another bill and 2) they count 10 years of revenues but only seven years of expenses. Lynn points out that, contrary to Democratic claims that the Republicans are simply the “Party of No,” the GOP has offered an alternative called the Empowering Patients First Act. This legislation, HR 3400, would 1) make access to coverage affordable for all Americans; 2) make coverage truly owned and controlled by the patient; 3) improve the healthcare delivery structure; and 4) rein in out-of-control costs, including through robust liability reform.

After the Democrats unveiled their 2,000 page health care plan on Thursday, Lynn issued this call to action for all Americans: We have to act NOW if we have any hope of stopping this government takeover of health care. Even huge victories for conservatives in the 2010 elections won’t be able to reverse the damage done by this legislation.
Americans must call their members of Congress to express their opposition to this bill.
