Something needs to be done. Bush didn't hear anyone on this matter in eight years. Didn't a politician sell Trident for two billion dollars while I can't afford coverage?

You would be crazy to argue that we don't need some reform, but the kind of reform under consideration right now is wrong. I work in healthcare and can tell you, any reform that doesn't have tort reform as its foundation is flawed. The next biggest issue is medicaid/medicare abuse.

Evev considering the use of taxpayer money to pay for the killing of babies is ludicrous. This looney tune, left wing congress wants that in the reform bill...these people have got to go.

Lousy idea. Cost me and my kids way too much. Why would I want to pay for someone elses health insurance when I can barely afford my own?

The house healthcare bill that we passed is much more comprehensive and a better deal for the average American. It carries a so called public option which will establish a government run healthcare insurer. This Govop will be in competition with the insurance companies and will cause them to lower their premium costs thus saving Americans money. In addition it will provide free healthcare for those Americans who can't or won't work. You know, the ones that sit on their big fat aces and watch Oprah and bytch about not having free healthcare to go along with their housing subsidies, welfare, ADC and other government handouts. They are the ones whose kids only eat at school because mom and dad when not watching Oprah are spending the food money on "rock" for the crackpipe. They send the kids out to "sling" reefer for the neighborhood drug dealers so they can get a new pair of Nike Jordans to impress their friends at school. When Oprah isn't on they sometimes travel in groups to shoplift in the mall. They sell the clothes they steal from the trunk of their cars to buy gasoline, pay the electricity bill so they can watch Oprah and buy more crack. They only get up in the morning to make sure the kids get on the bus. The kids go to school even when they are sick because they have to eat during the week. The kids usually do the shoplifting at the grocery store because of all the cameras and the fact that they can run pretty fast with a couple of T bones crammed in their undies. Besides, if a kid gets caught they don't lock them up. They laugh at people who go to work. they know Obama promised to redistribute the wealth and they are just waiting for that big check. In the meantime they watch Oprah and just know she is going to give them a free car. She does that you know.
