Doesn't anyone remember how medicare was slated for bankruptcy? The govt spent medicare money (top skimming) on every other project that came their way, year after year- we can't afford to have the gov't run healthcare- they don't know how to handle money or people. Besides our govt is only as good as the special interests who bought our officials. Who owns them? Insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies (wall st traded too). Whose interest do you think they will protect? Remember, healthcare is 1/6th of our economy. Lots of money for those corrupt scoundrels to take.
