Why does our government need to borrow almost $1 trillion to save $500 billion?

Why not fix the problems with the supposed waste & fraud in the Medicare & Medicaid programs?
And then use that savings to help fix our health system?

Does it really make sense to borrow $1.00 to save $0.50????

i think healthcare needs overhaul, my husband is a RN and we dont ahve insurance, we got 2 girls, its very expensive..

It is an expensive, idiotic plan. At least I think it is as no one really knows what the plan is!

There are too many people without coverage. Currently those of us with coverage are paying for those without in our health care premium. It a wash when you look at it this way.
