Bring the drug prices down to what other countries pay, and stop the bs lawsuits.
Then healthcare will be affordable.

Government health care is a shambles all over the world. It is not right to destroy our system under the guise of "fairness". This dog of a bill will set up thousands of little dictators that will have life or death power over all of this. It will destroy medical innovation. 10 years ago AIDS was a death sentence now it is easily controlled with drugs - from the "evil" pharma.

The insurance industry made $8 Billion in Profits yet we are told that Medicare has $60 Billion in Fraud in ONE YEAR. NO NO NO NOBAMA!!!!!!!!!!

Why is it a law to purchase insurance? Shouldn't it be a choice? Maybe insurance that is mandatory is not really insurance...

Ken: I think I know WHO you are! If you didn't have health or car insurance, think of the costs if you wound up in the hospital and your car was totaled. Not that I'm wishing that on you. It's time for HAPPY HOUR, five o'clock somewhere. Right?

Not sure if the best plan, however, with medical premiums alone sky rocketing in the past several years, something had to be done, if it turns out to be a bad decision it would need to be tweeked, changed or voted out....and start all over again until we get it right

Less care, fewer choices, big expenses.

Rick's got it right. Any questionable proposal can always be put on the back shelf in favor of a new idea. It's a long-lived problem with no easy solution, so give the President a chance to find the right combination.
As for Status, you scoff about less care, fewer choices, big expenses. How about giving us a possible solution? All suggestions are welcome, even yours!

You can go to the doc or the hospital anytime you want and you wont get a bill!! You will get all the drugs you want for free.

I love your optimism. You're absolutely correct. I give Obama an "A" for courage. He's willing to trade his presidency for a fix to the medical profiteering. Yet American conservatives are in the back seat like little children saying " are we there yet". Give me a break. This mess will take more time.

I believe it has far more to do with eugenics than saving America from a major health care crises!! Has President Obama sold his politcal soul to those who want to wipe non-white people off the face of this planet? Is there a link between racism and abortion!? Let's all judge for ourselves by exploring the web-site of Life Dynamics Incorporated and watching the DVD Maafa 21!!

Do you ever wonder if our American President is a sell-out to those who want to rid this world of non-white people "TV MAN"? How about investigating whether or not eugenics is the supreme motive behind such legislation by exploring the web-site of Life Dynamics Incorporated and watching the DVD Maafa 21!?

I don't use bias web-sites or TV brokers to make decisions. I use history and common sense. I use present and future trends. Yet, mostly results. Too much money is finding the hands of too few people. Due to de-regulation and weak inforcement of the current laws. Republicans are the main characters in play. They're die hard free market enthusiasts. Money became to easy and capitalism has a cost. Republicans can't get it, their confused combining socialism with good regulation. They know Americans hate socialism, so they call Democrat ideas socialism. Republicans are herded by the few not by the masses. Billionaires and the spread between middle class and the rich are mostly the results of Republicans.
