Obamacare completely misses the point on fixing what is truly wrong with our Sickcare system. Access to insurance does not equal access to care.

I'm self-employed and always paid for health insurance until five years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and my health insurance company refused to allow me to renew. No other health insurance company would allow me to purchase coverage so I became eligible to purchase medical coverage through the state's high risk health insurance - at an unaffordable $1000 a month. I welcome the affordable care act and the opportunity to buy health insurance at a reasonable price.

Good for you!

I can only assume that those who complain about the Affordable Health Care Act are uninsured, rely on County Hospitals to pick up the tab and pass it on to the taxpayer. As a taxpayer with health coverage for many years, I oppose supporting someone else's medical problems. We all pay Bexar County Hospital District taxes. Those taxes help defer medical bills for the uninsured. Get a job, and health insurance and quit whining. Taxpayers are tired of supporting you people. I'd rather the uninsured pay a penalty fine for not enrolling in the AHC Act, than my taxes paying for your medical bills. Enough said!

What they don't tell you is that all the illegal aliens will come to this country and get FREE health care. They won't be made to buy insurance. The democrats have sugar coated it so sweet for you sheeple that you think it's gonna work and be cheaper. One thing is for certain, anytime the government puts their greedy little fingers into something, it becomes all screwed up!

Shut up already with your post. He was stupid for enlisting. He enlisted because he wanted the government benefits. He was stupid if he thought he was gonna get a free ride off the government and not have to be expected to sacrifice something. I'm sorry to sound so insensitive but that's why so many young people enlist in the military. THEY ARE BRAINWASHED AND USED LIKE TOILET PAPER!
