The idea that government should take care of you from the cradle to the grave is not what freedom is all about. Let private business handle health care. Government can help private business in various ways, but not replace those tasks. Let the government provide for the common defense, encourage interstate commerce, but stay out of health care.

I think it is a load of crap, and I am tired of paying for all of these low-life, ignorant, lazy people who refuse to get off of their ass and find a job. I am tired of being forced to help all of the sorry ass people who refuse to help themselves. I work my ass off and still cannot afford to live, but according to the Government, I would not qualify for any of the shit that my taxes pay for every single paycheck. Where is my free break? I need one, too.

Has anyone used the Lincoln Parish Health Unit? Are all services "free".(meaning paid for by our taxes) What services do they offer and is it for everyone or just the "poor"?

I agree, but I am tired of paying for my own when I have to pay for other people's health care, also. I believe that all of these people on welfare should be required to find a job or at least supply some kind of proof every week that they have been looking for a job. If I am going to pay for other peoples' health care, shouldn't I qualify for it??? I can barely afford to live and support my family, but I do not qualify for any type of benefits from the government. Of course...I do qualify to pay for all of the people who refuse to get up off of their lazy asses and get a job so that they can support themselves, let alone their own families. I know of plenty of people who live in government housing for free or next to nothing, get food stamps, have medicaid, and also have habits/addictions that they somehow find money to support, and they have no desire to go out and find a damn job. They have nicer clothes than me, and some of them even have newer vehicles than me. How is that. Should I quit my job and live off of you people who will be forced to pay for me to live for free, feed my family, and pay for my family's health care?
