Ask anyone from Cananda or France just how good gov run health care is! Why do you think they all come to the usa to get healthcare. Also to add everyone in america has health care! some people don't have insurance but all have health care.

We are being forced to find health coverage. There is no restrictions in this bill for Ins. carriers. We will be paying dearly for coverage and in my case the penalty 2.5% of my wages will be less than the coverage per month I will pay for coverage. This is another example of Gov. stronghold. Get Obama out.....

This healthcare bill is scary. It is another way of burring the working family. I cannot afford one more payment per month and with this new "reform", I know what is going to happen to my premium in Jan. It is going to skyrocket....the ins. companies are going to go crazy. We are doomed. This president is Nuts! He has allowed Major credit card companies to increase Interest rates to 30% and that is on someone who never misses or makes late payments. What is going to become of the American family, we are going to be the next 3rd world country. Only the government will be living well....very scary

your data and opinion are flawed. I work in Canada on a regular basis and they (Canadians) are astounding at how screwed we are down here when it comes to health care.
i find that it's the morons with an intelligence rating of an ant that are screaming the loudest that we don't need health care reform. Also, if you would bother to look at who is screaming the loudest against it in government, you'd see that those loudmouths are backed by pharmaceutical and insurance companies. But, no... we can't actually have any research into an issue, can we? No no no... that would be too much like being intelligent. Why be intelligent when it's soooooo much easier to be a conservative dittohead stooge.

THINK for your damn self.

no, that's not right either.
the fact of the matter is that something, ANYTHING at this point, needs to happen to stop the steep slope of overcharging. Overcharging for hospital services, overcharging on premiums, overcharging on medication...

why is health care so damn expensive to begin with? What makes us so different from Europe and Canada?

I agree with you about the "overcharging". The problem is that their are no mentions of that in this healthcare bill. Their is no limitations on the health care companies for premiums. Premiums are the problem that people cannot afford to pay for insurance. When an employee is only guarenteed a three day pay week and will pay over $300.00 bi-weekly for a family plan, it is kinda impossible to carry insurance.
This whole plan sucks for anyone who works. Who will pick up the slack for the unemployed??? too many unanswered questions in this plan

I am so sorry to hear that you are paying $300 bi-weekly for insurance. That is outrageous! Our most expensive plan is about $65/week and that is with 3+ kids (MVP -$500 ded; $20 co-pay plan). I know jobs are sparce; but consider another employer when you can. This is not an employer that cares about it's employees; unless it has alot of other benefits to compensate for this. However, in defense of employers it is getting harder and harder to hold down these costs. They must pass them on. Again, at $150/week you are most likely paying about 50% of the premium.

Looking for a sweet home in the beautiful ADIRONDACKS of New York State? Do we have what you're looking for!! Pickings are great, law enforcement is low and prices are the best in the state. People in this town will turn a blind eye to whats going on in YOUR community and whoever moves in doesnt have to tell anyone-- not even the State of New York. Feel free to tell ALL your family and friends about the new opportunities in the Moriah area. Apartments, ratcondos and real quiet neighborhoods (away from other people, if you know what I mean!haha) Bring the wife and kiddies to see all the terrific views and fun things to do in the Witherbee area of this town. They will love it as much as you do!Rents are very reasonable- food stamps are available to those in need, medicaid is included. No work, no worry, no problems! The people who work in this area (theres that dirty four letter word again, sorry if it offends some of the more delicate of you, we know you have this ILLNESS and you dont do as well as you used to) will take GREAT care of you and see all of your NEEDS are met. Feel free to inquire at our town offices in Port Henry- ask for our out-of-state landlord PACKAGE. Great deal for those of you who find other towns not accepting of your passions! This is not a short time offer. Open season on the young, weak and helpless lasts forever. All the apply will find a great life here with no chance of arrest or discrimination. Anyone who calls you a perv will be severely dealt with by the laws of the state. So YOU ALL COME to our open house and see if it suits your needs. My family has always had health care provided through our employers at a monthly cost. Everyone needs health care - preventive health care is less expensive than paying the high cost of medical care after the fact.

and what have conservatives been adding all these years? Let's see... two neverending wars, loss of esteem to the global community, a budget that was so out of whack, we'll never see the light of day and an economy that has basically gone tits up. Gee, that's real conservatism right there.

Maybe you so-called conservatives should just come right out and admit you're all bigots and can't stand that the electorate (that's everyone else but you) chose a black man to be president of the united states.

if democrats were serious they would consider tort reform and buying ins out of state ,but they are owned by the lawyers and they also want the power over people.they also voted that they don't have to join the plan themselves

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Taurus

This is a day for turning your attention to your finances, especially if you're currently working on the budget for domestic improvements or changes. Talk to the other people concerned and really listen to what they're saying. They'll have some great insights. It will be far more productive to work as a harmonious team rather than as warring factions.
