That's dumbshyt thinking. You don't get to pick the diseases you get. You don't get to pick the genetics you are born with. You don't get to pick the accidents you have. The idea behind a health insurance system is that we all share in the risks of these things we can not control.

In short, you are one serious illness or accident away from poverty and destitution. Unless there is a decent system in place to spread the cost of these events across the population.
