Gov should stay out of healthcare business. Gov has no money to pay for healthcare. Gov will put so many stipulations and controls on healthcare, we'll all be on disability. And, that's probably their goal. BEWARE

Our country was founded upon freedom. But now the government has taken many things from us but now they are trying to tell us what we can do about our health. I see the 666 number coming.

I believe there are better ways to ensure adequate health care for American's without doing an overhaul with the Health Care system. There are more cost effective ways to handle this situation.

Perfect, timely example of gov't inadequacy and why they have no business being directly involved in our healthcare: same week that the US Preventative Services Task Force (i.e., "US Gov't) decides that there is no need for mammograms until age 50, my 43 year-old colleague discovers Stage 3 breast cancer from (drum roll...) a MAMMOGRAM! No symptoms/lumps, just a regular screening. These clowns that now represent us are clueless and have built an administration around them that blindly support anything that generates cash for their district, regardless of the consequence. Not only can our children not afford their lack of fiscal responsibility...you and I will quickly feel (literally) the result of their belief that THEY know what is best for our health. What a joke...WAKE UP!!!

The Funny thing about it is that a lot off rednecks locally complaint about paying for a higher tax rate and crying about social services but from what I can observe, it is that those same people are the ones receiving the benefits. The Irony is that for some of us that have to pay more taxes because of our salary bracket we don't seem to mind. I.E. I have good friends that works in roofing industry, Hard working Americans that earn their keep but because of the cost of health care they are unable to provide insurance to their children or them self for that matter, My question is when did we became selfish Hippocrates. We live in the best country in the world yet we are not willing to provide a universal health care system to all Americans because we don't want to pay a little more in taxes...really...really. Its not about politics it about Principal and that is unacceptable to the few less egocentric people still left around these areas.
I understand that because of the demographics of this area people are "brain washed" to be Republicans and with all fairness the same happens to people that live up north my point is lets focus on what is right for "our society" (rich,poor,lazy,sick,etc..)bec ause that is the burden that comes with being in a society!

Speaking of hypocrites In" God we trust" first comment is:Our country was founded upon freedom, this may seem like an oxymoron but don't forget that the reason that the pilgrims came here was specifically because of religious freedom, so to say that in God we trust is to say you have to believe in God, pure immature ignorance and intolerance. our society in shifting more and more towards the end of the Roman empire!

Obama's Health Care Reform is "Not" about providing the best Health Care. It is "ALL" about gaining more control over the American people at any price. Obama is a liar and there is nothing genuine about him.
