The government is already to big and intrusive in our lives. Besides, they can't even run a free lunch without screwing it up. Katrina! Social Security? Trillions in stimulus? Need I say more?

Don't trust the government to run a free lunch program let alone national healthcare.

Government is already too big. We need to reduce the size of the federal government not increase it.

He is showing that the experience we get during our lives by working makes a big difference. He doesn't know what it means to work for a living. 47, and no experience at all in any field, is a disaster. At 47 and no experience he was elected president? We have to find out what is wrong with people.

The government has proven time after time they can't handel money and they screw everything up the take over. The only thing the US is good at is war. They should stick to that.

I think they are working on ruining the country. We can not afford this, as it is going forward and they don't care. They just want to be able to say they did it, it doesn't have to right.

if it was such a good deal how come the congress opts out as well as the unions. Also, how come they need to bribe some senators to come on board. If it was good for us they would not have need to be bribed.

Open up the insurance market? That's the whole problem; if the insurance company can't make a lot of money, they won't insure you. And 34 million people who work part-time or for small companies w/o health plans can't afford private health insurance. The public health ins is a last option. Just make the high rollers on Wall St pay some taxes for once to cover it.
