Actually they live longer and pay less. Study up on the different European systems.

The health care reform legislation is not the same as European health care or Canadian health care. The government would not take over health care. It would make a Medicare option available to anyone who wants it. The lower negotiated rates would provide competition for insurance companies. The higher rates of preventative care would drive down tax payer money devoted to emergency room care for the uninsured. Stop repeating the lies fabricated by fear mongering, corporation corrupted politicians.
