Hey "Conservatives", check this out. CEO's are telling Congress to Tax Them to avoid a "fiscal cliff". The CEO for Honeywell said that most wealthy people get it. They said Romney is a fool. They said all tax increases are not job killers, and admitted solving this issue without increases in taxes is ludicrous. TV MAN told you. Watch independents knock out Romney. Why? Because most independents are financially literate. Many conservatives today are clueless and could be dangerous for society. Not only that, their religious beliefs are interpreted in their favor. Do they really think they know what God Intends.

Allow me to council Helion Prime. I will provide proof of the kind of conservative leadership "Helion Prime" is listening to.
1. Rush Limbaugh is branding a woman a "slut" because she thinks contraception should be part of her health insurance package.
2. Rep.Todd Akin's has the belief that the uterus somehow filters out unwanted sperm and Rep. Allen West's chastisement of an opponent's failure to act like a "lady" it becomes increasingly obvious some socially conservative men are stuck in a time warp.
3. Then you have Romney's binders full of women.
4. I say Romney close the binder and open your eyes.
5. Everyone should know Helion Prime supports women in binders.
6.Now you have a conservative that calls rape a God intention.

Ok folks, show me the sanity in this kind of thinking.

Hey Nut Job, quote your sources. We know for a fact that the President is a Liar, the same as Billy boy Clinton. The Democ-rats only Lie and attack anyone questioning them, the same as TV Jerk.
He picks and choses what he will attack and answer, and the tons of posts that he has no answers for , he ignores. See the similarities? Ignorant/ignores. Case in point, Obama refuses to answer question re Benghazi, and flip flopping his story. "We didn't know, It was a protest to that movie., I said from the beginning it was a Terrorist attack" Al Qaeda said it was their attack 2 hours after it happened.Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, were part of a Global Response Staff or GRS that provides security to CIA case officers and provides countersurveillance and surveillance protection. They were killed by a mortar shell at 4 a.m. Libyan time, nearly seven hours after the attack on the Consulate began — a window that represented more than enough time for the U.S. military to send back-up from nearby bases in Europe, according to sources familiar with Special Operations. Four mortars were fired at the annex. The first one struck outside the annex. Three more hit the annex.

New Explosive Benghazi Allegations: CIA Operators Told to ‘Stand Down’ During Attack As 3 Urgent Requests for Military Back-Up Were Denied.“Joe Biden to Father of Former Navy SEAL Killed in Benghazi:‘Did Your Son Always Have Balls the Size of Cue Balls?’”

Woods, Doherty and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the Consulate which at that point was on fire….The quick reaction force from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the Consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.

At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours — enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

Once more "GREEDY ONE" take your investment crap to the Financial section, the attack on Benghazi was an attack on U.S. Soil. Second attack on 9/11 of our country.

Hey stupid, if you would've pay attention, the post you answered didn't have anything to do with finances. Can't you come up with something that requires your brain. First, Romney says he'll repeal Obama care in full. Then after putting his finger in the air to see which way the wind blows ,he decides to keep the good parts of Obama care. Why didn't he say that in the first place. Did he not know Obama care had good parts, or did he care. Take your pick, both answers tell you Romney will say anything for votes.

All you guys are so much fun. All this barking about TV MAN. Now that's funny. You say I can't invest in junk bonds and continuously receive high returns on investments. How do you know, are you a bond investor? Nobody makes great returns doing the obvious. It takes nerve and hard work. It takes knowledge, and understanding about trends. Would you invest hard earned money that you need for your house note, car note, food, and entertainment, for some kid in the garage playing with computers. Most likely you wouldn't. Most people wouldn't, that's why they did't get wealthy. You people are so much fun.
It's a well known fact that you can't continuously receive High returns from those bonds...Key word is continuously.

1). I don't listen to Rush Limbaugh, I'm fairly certain you misquoted as well. Regardless, he apologized for the remark.

2). Akin Remark: The female body CAN in fact reject the sperm of unsuitable partners.

"University of Adelaide professor Sarah Robertson said her research suggested that sperm contains "signaling molecules" that activate immunity changes in a woman so her body accepts it."

"But some apparently healthy sperm failed to activate these changes, leading to the suggestion that the female system can be "choosy" about its biological mate, she said."

Source: http://news.discovery.com/human/women-sperm-s...

Allen West Remark:

Quote: "The subject line of the email: "Unprofessional and Inappropriate Sophomoric Behavior from Wasserman Schultz."

Can you cite where he clearly states she is "not a lady"?

3). You have Biden's "Put yall back in chains". Can you further explain how "binders full of women" is offensive? It is quite clear that he's referring to their resumes.

6). Who stated rape was "Gods intention"? Provide a source.

The State of Financial Literacy in America

Nearly two-thirds (63%) of Americans acknowledge they don’t save enough, and more than a third say that they often (11%) or sometimes (25%) spend more than they can afford. More than one-in-three (36%) Americans also say that they have at some point in their lives felt their financial situation was out of control. The State of Financial Literacy in America

More than 40% of American households have less than $1,000 in liquid, non-retirement savings accounts according to Census Bureau data, leaving them incredibly vulnerable financially.

So much for American financial literacy. Most of these say their conservatives. Even if their not, it's very sad.

Retired Lt. Col.: My Sources Say Obama Was in the Room Watching Benghazi Attack Happen

Posted on October 28, 2012 at 8:11am by Madeleine Morgenstern Madeleine Morgenstern

Retired Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said Saturday he has sources saying President Barack Obama was in the room at the White House watching the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya unfold.

Two unarmed U.S. drones were dispatched to the consulate and recorded the final hours of the attack, which killed U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

“This was in the middle of the business day in Washington, so everybody at the White House, CIA, Pentagon, everybody was watching this go down,” Shaffer said on Fox News’“Justice with Judge Jeanine.”“According to my sources, yes,[Obama] was one of those in the White House Situation Room in real-time watching this.”

Shaffer served as a senior operations officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan in 2003 and wrote a book critical of the policies there. The U.S. government purchased the entire print run for $47,000 in an attempt at censorship just before its 2010 publication, claiming it contained classified material.

Shaffer said the question now is what precisely Obama did or didn’t do in the moments he saw the attack unfolding. The CIA reportedly made three urgent requests for military backup that were each denied.

“He, only he, could issue a directive to Secretary of Defense Panetta to do something. That’s the only place it could be done,” Shaffer said.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said last week the military did not intervene because they did not have enough information about what was happening on the ground.

Col. David Hunt, a Fox News military analyst, said the military could have had jets in the air within 20 minutes and forces on the ground within two hours.

“The issue is always political with the White House, but the secretary of defense gives the order, has to be approved by the White House, they wouldn’t pull the trigger, and it’s disgraceful,” Hunt said.“We’ve got guys dead.”

1. Bond ladders deprive you of current income. The money you put into individual bonds pays you an income at a fixed rate. When rates in the marketplace go up, your income will stay the same. In a bond mutual fund, by contrast, the managers will be adding higher-rate bonds to the pool. Your interest income – and spending money – will increase.

2. Bond ladders often force you to reinvest at lower rates. If you’re not spending the interest income you get from individual bonds, you need to reinvest it. What are you doing with that money? It might not be enough to buy more than one or two bonds, at a high commission cost. If you want that money to be readily available, you’ll siphon it into a money market fund whose interest rate is kissing zero.

In a bond mutual fund, by contrast, you can reinvest all your interest income in new shares, at the market’s current, higher yields. In other words, you’ll be buying more shares at a lower price. When interest rates decline again, the value of your bond fund shares will rise. You’ll have more shares than you started with, which means more dollars in your pocket.

3. Bond ladders deprive you of future capital gains. When you hold individual bonds and interest rates decline, your bonds will rise in market value. They’ll be worth more than you paid for them. But in ladders, you hold to maturity so you’ll never collect the capital gains. In a mutual fund, the manager will harvest those gains and add them to the value of your shares.

4. Bond ladders carry more default risk. Individual investors might hold no more than 10 or 20 bonds. If one of them goes bad, it could take a mean slice out of your portfolio. Ladders should be built only with high-quality bonds but – in municipals, especially — you never know when a snake is hidden in the underbrush.

Mutual funds are far better diversified, owning hundreds, even thousands of bonds (Vanguard’s Intermediate-Term Tax-Exempt fund holds 4,641 of them). Like ladders, the bonds come in varying maturities, from short to long.

5. Bond ladders leave you unprepared for emergencies. Sometimes, you can’t hold individual bonds to maturity. If interest rates have risen, their market value will be down – especially for small, retail lots. The markets trade in amounts of $100,000 or more, and clip 2 to 3 percent off the price if you’re selling just 25 or 30 bonds. You pay your broker a sales commission. And, after the sale, you don’t have a ladder any more – one or more of the rungs is gone.

With a mutual fund, on the other hand, you can sell shares at any time and at no cost if you have a no-load fund. The remainder of your investment will be just as diversified as it was before.

6. Bond ladders are expensive. You’ll probably work with a broker to set one, paying 2 percent in markups, at retail price. The ladders have to be managed, meaning more sales commissions. A no-load mutual fund, by contrast, charges no commissions and costs only a small amount per year in management fees – at Vanguard, about 0.2 percent. Also, funds buy their bond at institutional prices, which are much lower than the price you pay in the retail market.

Source: http://janebryantquinn.com/2011/01/7-reasons-...

- The seventh reason was ommitted because you presumably handle this on your own.

2). Not sure what your point is. We've already established that junk bonds are high risk and that it's a terrible idea to invest in them.

TV MAN: Wrong, Goofy. Mutual funds wipe out yield with high fee's. Mutual funds don't all go up at the same time. When one goes up one goes down washing out potential yield. Besides when selling you must sell the whole fund. Not a good idea. If your not in a high tax bracket, or taxes are as low as they are today, Tax Exempt doesn't make up for the higher yields in corp, junk. Laddering makes sense in low amounts of 5 thousand dollars. when you take a haircut very seldom do you lose 100%. Limit your loses with an education on balance sheets, and business savvy. I've sustained 8.5% for the last five years. One haircut for less then 5000. No risk no fame.

TV MAN says, Bond ladders are not expensive unless your counting the retail value a cost. Each of my transactions cost 6.00 dollars ea. What ever I pay based on value doesn't mean sh-t to me. It's all about yield vs's risk. I buy some bonds when there not favored. Example, Ford years ago at 63 cents on the dollar paying 10% yield. I could sell it today for 1.24 a unit, yet I don't I want the income. Laddering doesn't cost diddle, if you wait tell maturity. The purpose of junk bonds is income, don't take your focus away from the income. Reinvesting is cheap, six dollars. mutual funds need to managed, junk bonds are IOU's.

Helion is either a sucker, or a broker who wants to get paid. Helion says that junk bonds are high risk and that it's a terrible idea to invest in them.

TV MAN says: Junk bonds can be high risk, however mutual funds are for average everyday people who don't have a clue. Brokers are the Fox guarding the mutual fund. You may not show a principal loss, but unless you're very savvy you don't know what your losing in yield. Helion is obviously an average investor with a tight fist. Remember when your fist is closed, no money can get out, yet no money can get in. One lowers his risk on junk bonds by understanding business, balance sheets, Cash flow, and demand.
