Health Care Debate - Massapequa Park, NY
Do you support President Obama's health care policy?

Forcing citizens to purchase a product they do not want or need is unconstitutional. The IRS is not a health care billing center. We are 12 trillion dollars in debt with real unemployment close to 20%. We do not want it, nor can we afford it.

Health Care in Europe far superior to ours. We need Universal Health Care.

The system while not being perfect, was not broken. The additional millions added to the Medicare roll will ensure bankruptcy of that system.

Get this Email I just received:And this on top of the Healthcare bill they are trying to force through:
Blank checks to Fannie and Freddie at taxpayers' expense
have elevated Treasury Secretary Geithner to "Bailout
King." We must not bow down to decrees of this new king.
Details below.-- Martin
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the quasi-government entities that
were "rewarded" with $200 billion in bailout money for their
role in the greatest housing meltdown in our nation's history,
are now set to receive an "unlimited funds" bailout...
In a stealth move while nearly all of Washington was away,
Secretary Timothy Geithner lifted all caps on the Fannie
and Freddie bail-outs, and enacted what may turn out to be
one of the greatest taxpayer heists in history!
And to add insult to injury, the top executives of these
two entities will also receive $42 million in bonuses!
++ How much is "Unlimited?"
itzik, this outrage and madness seems to know no bounds.
Geithner's bold move sidesteps government oversight, and
gives Fannie and Freddie an unbridled opportunity to write
themselves huge checks without prior approval of Congress.
Again, all at YOUR expense!
Where does the print-and-spend madness end?
It will only end if and when the investor-citizens rebel.
That's why I'm so grateful that you are already standing with
me and the Sound Dollar Committee to battle precisely this
kind of irresponsibility. With your help, we can begin to change
the reckless culture in Washington.
++ Alert your friends
itzik, in the face of so many economic concerns, many
citizens and citizen investors behave like a deer caught in
the headlights of oncoming traffic. Too frightened to move.
These are the very citizens I'm counting on you to reach out to
in the days and weeks ahead -- alerting and steering them to
the Sound Dollar Committee.
Forward this message to 20-30 friends today, urging
them to take action with you by clicking here:
This latest revelation regarding Fannie and Freddie galvanizes
the need to quickly mobilize a powerful grassroots coalition
of citizen investors who are determined to put free-spending
politicians on notice and rescue the U.S. dollar.
Over the next 30 days, I'm counting on you to help me rally
an additional 20,000 citizen signers who are taking action!
Thank you in advance for taking action with me through the
Sound Dollar Committee.

Telling it like it is!
This is an excellent article by Pat Buchanan....I’m impressed by his honesty to say what is very unpopular and almost makes you wince as you read it. The facts are the facts and history has proven time and again that white people simply are NOT the racists in this country. I love his closing paragraph, he calls for an END to affirmative action and ethnic preferences....God, I pray that we will ALL live to see that!
Here it is:
Has Obama Lost White America?
by Patrick J. Buchanan
If Republicans will study the returns from Massachusetts, then review the returns from Virginia and New Jersey, light will fall upon the path to victory over Barack Obama in 2012.
Obama defeated John McCain by winning the black vote 24 to one, the Hispanic vote two to one and taking a larger share of the white vote, 44 percent, than did John Kerry or Al Gore. As the white vote was three-fourths of the national turnout, Obama coasted to victory.
#7 Jan 23, 2010
Now consider Massachusetts. In the 2008 election, no less than 79 percent of the voters were white, and Obama carried them by 20 points, winning the state 62 to 36.
How did Scott Brown turn that 26-point deficit into a six-point victory? By winning the white vote as massively as did Obama. While there are no exit polls to prove it, we do have exit polls from Virginia and New Jersey, which tend to corroborate it.
Bob McDonnell won the Virginia governor's race by 17, while McCain lost Virginia by six. As McDonnell did equally poorly with African-Americans, losing the black vote 90 to nine, while McCain's lost it 92 to eight, what explains his Virginia landslide?
The white vote. McDonnell won Virginia's white vote 68 to 32, though his opponent was a downstate Democrat more conservative than the Northern Virginia candidates he beat in the primary.
In New Jersey, same story. McCain won 8 percent of the black vote. Gov. Chris Christie won 8 percent of the black vote. How did Christie turn a McCain loss of New Jersey by 16 points into a five-point victory?
The white vote. McCain won the white vote in New Jersey 50 to 49, but Christie won the white vote 59 to 34, almost two to one.
Republicans have won three major races -- two of them upsets and one a Massachusetts miracle -- because the white share of the vote in all three rose as a share of the total vote, and Republicans swept the white vote in Reagan-like landslides.
What explains the white surge to the GOP?
First, sinking white support for Obama, seen as ineffectual in ending the recession and stopping the loss of jobs.
Second, a growing perception that Obama is biased. When the president blurted that the Cambridge cops and Sgt. James Crowley "acted stupidly" in arresting black Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates -- a rush to judgment that proved wrong -- his support sank in white America and especially in Massachusetts, where black Gov. Deval Patrick joined in piling on Crowley. Deval is now in trouble, too.
#8 Jan 23, 2010
Then there was Obama's appointment of Puerto Rican American Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. Her militant support for race and ethnic preferences and her decision to deny Frank Ricci and the white firefighters of New Haven a hearing on their case that they were denied promotions they won in competitive exams because they were white caused 31 GOP senators to vote against her.
While Massachusetts is Democrat over Republican three to one, Reagan carried the state in 1984 and Hillary Clinton clobbered Obama in the 2008 primary, though the Kennedys were in Obama's corner. The Scott Brown Democrats were the Hillary Democrats were the Reagan Democrats.
But if McDonnell, Christie and Brown could roll up large enough shares of the white vote to win in three major states McCain lost, why did McCain lose all three?
Answer: In 2008, the working and middle class had had a bellyful of the Bush-McCain Republicans. They were seen as pro-amnesty for illegal aliens and pro-NAFTA, when U.S. workers had watched 5 million manufacturing jobs disappear in a decade -- and reappear in China. They were willing to give Obama a chance because Obama had persuaded them by November he was not just another big-spending utopian liberal.
So what have Obama and Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi been doing for a year? Crafting a federal takeover of health care with a vast plan that provides coverage for the uninsured -- most of whom are minorities -- while sticking it to Medicare recipients, 80 percent to 90 percent of whom are white.
Immigrants are 21 percent of the uninsured, but only 7 percent of the population. This means white folks on Medicare or headed there will see benefits curtailed, while new arrivals from the Third World, whence almost all immigrants come, get taxpayer-subsidized health insurance. Any wonder why all those Tea Party and town-hall protests seem to be made up of angry white folks?
What the McDonnell, Christie and Brown victories teach is that the GOP should stop listening to the Wall Street Journal and start listening to these forgotten Americans.
An end to affirmative action and ethnic preferences, an end to bailouts of Wall Street bankers, a moratorium on immigration until unemployment falls to 6 percent, an industrial policy that creates jobs here and stops shipping them to China appear a winning hand in 2012.

Re Pat Buchanan's article
When I was working, we had a saying, "If its not broken, DON'T FIX IT!".
Not many in Congress would have the backbone to attempt to follow what Pat has advocated. It is called "Tough Love", which is what you would do for your family members, and yet Congress does not treat the American people this way. On the whole,
years ago the Congress and the American people were
marching along the same road, not step for step, as they and the American people had different views on how things should be done, but at least on the same road. Today it is, "We know better than you, what is good for you". Really! Who made you our Mother and Father? Who told you to dictate what is good for us? Since when did the American people give up our rights? Fine job Congress has done, Bankrupt Fanny and Freddie. Bankrupt the
Medicare system, while saying that Adding 31 Million more people on the Medicare rolls, and
Cutting the coverage by BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, INCREASING PREMIUMS, AND TELLING YOU WHAT TREATMENTS YOU CAN OR CAN NOT HAVE IS GOOD FOR MEDICARE RECIPIENTS!
If Congress will not speak up for us, then it is left in our hands to get rid of those in congress that will not take our part, and that is
ALL AMERICANS! By showing those in congress that we will boot them out of office if they do not listen to us, is what the founders of our country had in mind. SPEAK OUT, USING YOUR VOTES TO STRIKE FEAR IN THE MINDS OF THOSE POLITICIANS. We have a good chance to correct this in November of this year, AND IT MAY BE OUR LAST CHANCE. Liberalism means giving away your hard earned cash to them to spend it as they want, not as you want.
Hang tough, and do not lose your resolve. We, you and I can do it, before they take away even our rights to vote.

Barack Hussein Obama, is obsessed with this health care. Why?
64-73% of Americans are satisfied with their health care so why is this need by him to make changes that the American Voters do not want. This will go down in history as the destruction of America, and the American Way. This President is a megalomaniac
and will destroy the Constitution of the United States of America.
This health care change will cut all of the Medicare coverage in order to pay for these changes, and diminish the seniors ability to live a healthy life. He does not care whether the Democratic party is destroyed in the process, which should have every Democratic Senator and Representative shaking in their boots, as the American voters will kick out of office every Democrat, Good or Bad. The pendulum swings just as far one way , as it does the other, and the whole barrel will be thrown out.
I had thought Jimmy Carter was the worse President we ever had, he now seems like an Angel compared to this President. We know that Congress has had the lowest approval rating in history, and has had that during the last 4 years of President Bush, in case no one remembers that.
You can not trust the Democratic Party as they have proven, even those that claim that they are anti-abortion, as they are being coerced into voting for a bill that sanctions use of our money to fund Abortions, as this President pushes for Abortions all over the world. To circumvent parliamentary proceedings and ignore the constitution of our country, is cause for this president to be impeached, and that goes for Pewlousy, and Harry Reediculous. Can you imagine waiting for 4 years after you have paid for something, to finally get it? And then find out that what you paid for is only 75% of what you had bought?
For them to state that there are MILLIONS of Americans without health care coverage, does not mean that they will not get health treatment. Any of them can walk into the hospitals(just as the illegals do), and be treated and cared for the same as anyone else. That is a political smoke screen, and does not ring true, that those people are without medical care. It is not too difficult to prove, just walk into the emergency room at the hospitals, and they will tell you that they can not turn away anyone that seeks medical treatments. If the President and Congress keep spending with the Health care fiasco, and the Cap and Trade bills, in 5 years our country will go into default the same as Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Spain are heading, to be followed by Great Britain, and then the United States of America.
You hard working people had better get on the telephone and computers, and let your voices be heard. We did not fight for freedom in 1776 for nothing, and to have taxes and spending pushed upon us , without representation , that truly represents what the American people feel. If this bill is pushed through, and rammed down our throats, without an outcry, and voting those who have done this out of office, then
we deserve what we get. Just think about how you will explain this to your Grand-children, as I don't think with the new health care you have to think about
great-grandchildren, as the health care committee that you will have to meet with every 6 months will not allow you to live that long.
This is my honest opinion. God Save us All

USCCB Reiterates Opposition to Pro-Abortion Health Care Bill
by James Tillman
WASHINGTON, DC, November 15, 2010 ( LifeSiteNews.com )-- The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has again weighed in against the health care reform bill approved by the Senate (H.R. 3590) due to "serious flaws on abortion and conscience rights."
In a bulletin insert updated on Thursday for release in parishes the following Sunday, the USCCB acknowledged that the Senate health care bill passed last Christmas Eve "requires federal funds to help subsidize and promote health plans that cover elective abortions," and that "all purchasers of such plans will be required to pay for other people's abortions through a separate payment solely to pay for abortion."
Therefore, the bishops called on Catholics to lobby representatives "today" to "stop abortion funding in health care reform!"
Last October the USCCB had instructed that a pro-life insert be included in parish bulletins as part of a massive campaign waged against any funding of abortion in the health-care bill. As before, the current insert directs parishioners to www.usccb.org/action to write an email to Congress and call their senators and representatives.
The USCCB has recently taken other measures against the bill as well. Last Friday, they released a rebuttal to the claim by Professor Timothy Jost of Washington and Lee School of Law that "there are no significant differences between" the health care reform bills passed by the House and by the Senate.
Jost claimed that the "Senate bill, like the House bill ... provides no funding for new programs that cover abortions."
The USCCB responded that the "Senate bill authorizes and appropriates billions of dollars in new funding" at "Community Health Centers," which will "be available for elective abortions, as nothing in this bill (or in any other law) prevents their use for this purpose."
The same response details how, despite repeated denials by President Obama and others, the Hyde amendment would not prevent the bill from funding abortions, and how the bill would fail to implement current conscience protections for health care workers under the new scheme.
Responding to pro-abortion lobbyists complaining that the House bill imposes new restrictions on abortion coverage, the US bishops pointed out in a factsheet released this month that the House bill simply follows longstanding federal policy found in the Hyde amendment, stating: "No funds authorized or appropriated in the entire bill may be used for elective abortions or health plans that cover them."
"People are not forced to pay for other people's abortions, and those who want abortion coverage may buy it separately without using federal funds," wrote the bishops. "This policy would maintain longstanding federal precedent, ensuring that this is a health bill and not an abortion bill."

Timing is everything if you are a sent-to-destroy-the-Republic Obama. A time to be born, in his case at least on paper; a time to best Madonna as everybody’s Material Girl in a self-serving autobiography, or enter the sphere in a Billy Ayers’ biography.
Timing is everything when you realize that your Number One enemy is not going away anytime soon.
Conceited, dancing-on-Soros’-strings Obama has discovered the enemy and it’s all things US.
It would take unimaginable conceit to think you had the right to tear apart someone else’s country while dangling from the end of someone else’s strings.
Obama is in a snit and was even in a snit long before flying over exuberant crowds on 9/12. The President and his First Lady were two activists in a fine snit long before ever arriving at the White House.
Problem is so is the Tea Party Movement in a snit. Their snit is better than Obama’s because it’s legitimate. Patriots tend to get into a snit when someone appears to be enjoying tearing apart their country.
Obama and Michelle’s long suffering snit originates from a misspent youth. And, guys you must now be learning that there’s no getting even with ills that are imaginary, no matter how much power you gain as an adult arrived in high places.
In this Night of the Long Knives in the prelude to the force-fed Health Care Bill, the Tea Party will survive Barack. They will survive Michelle, Nancy, Harry and even the wild-eyed czars, with or without moldy Saul Alinsky rules.
By continuing with his Dismantling of America Act 1 routine, Obama, with all of the money and power at his end of the basketball court, has been trying to demoralize, exhaust and finish off the Tea Partiers.
No He Can’t. The Tea Party Movement not only keeps coming on, it gains strength with every protest.
The strategy of the We Will Not Be Moved Tea Party doesn’t cost billions, and is best described in four little words: Patriot persistence pays off

The Health Care debate is NOT over health care, it's all about FREEDOM versus unbridled federal power
The Truth About Progressives - aka Marxists
By JB Williams Tuesday, March 16, 2010
To fully understand the progressive movement and their current rush to grab one-sixth of the US economy via unconstitutional federal health care mandates, one must follow the trail that leads from the Maoist Movement of the 60s that started in Berkley California, and the Marxist Movement that has culminated in the joint venture between the Communist Party USA and Socialist Party USA, today’s Democratic Socialists of America.
You do not have to believe what I tell you in this column. But if you study the sources linked in this column, no reasonable mind can come to any other conclusion. Information is power. If most Americans were aware of all that is presented in this column, they would know exactly what to do to save their Constitutional Republic, while they still can.
Today’s US Congress is controlled by two Democratic Socialists of America (DSAUSA) organizations, the Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
The DSAUSA explains it very clearly in their publication, What is Democratic Socialism—
“We are not a separate party. Like our friends and allies in the feminist, labor, civil rights, religious, and community organizing movements, many of us have been active in the Democratic Party. We work with those movements to strengthen the party’s left wing, represented by the Congressional Progressive Caucus.”
They explain their primary methods as well—in the spirit of Joseph Stalin—“Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.”
“Since the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s, young people have played a critical role in American politics. They have been a tremendous force for both political and cultural change in this country: in limiting the US’s options in the war in Vietnam, in forcing corporations to divest from the racist South African regime, in reforming universities, and in bringing issues of sexual orientation and gender discrimination to public attention. Though none of these struggles were fought by young people alone, they all featured youth as leaders in multi-generational progressive coalitions. Young people are needed in today’s struggles as well: for universal health care and stronger unions, against welfare cuts and predatory multinational corporations.”
Vladimir Lenin explained why the political left always targets young minds in the pursuit of the leftist agenda,-“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”
And so it is in America today. What our children understand to be “progressive,” the older generations know to be socialism, communism, Marxism and most accurately, totalitarianism. Young people have been taught to call it “social justice,” the central governments power to control individual outcomes regardless of individual productivity, or as Karl Marx put it,-“to take from each according to his abilities, and give to each according to his needs.” This is the fundamental basis of Marxism,“social justice” and today’s progressive ideal.

From March 19 - 21, 2010, like-minded leftist organizations from all over the world will hold their annual conference at Pace University in New York City. From the Left Forum About Us page—“Each spring Left Forum convenes the largest gathering in North America of the US and international Left. Continuing a tradition begun in the 1960s, we bring together intellectuals and organizers to share perspectives, strategies, experience and vision.”
This year’s Left Forum event is titled - Rekindling the Radical Imagination and it opens with grave concerns about the movement, which explains the desperation in progressive leaders like Obama, Pelosi and Reid, as they risk all to advance a health care bill that hasn’t even been written yet—
“The ongoing capitalist crisis generated high hopes that the parties and social movements of the Left, both in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world, would be re-energized. So far this has not happened. The Left remains fractured and confused, drifting away from its labor base, while the Right seems to have emerged as the stronger or at least the more strident force.”
The leftist Obama Administration is under heavy fire from those who put him in power, the international left.
Constitutional conservatives opposed Obammunism in 2008 are even more opposed in 2010. Moderates who fell for Obama’s centrist sounding campaign have since awakened, and turned against him. But his record low approval rating and that of the DSAUSA led congress, dips well below the mark of the constitutional American majority.
Their low approval ratings include increasing anger from hardcore leftists who expected Obama to ram through their agenda by any means necessary, even if 95% of Americans stood opposed.
#19 Mar 16, 2010
Today’s Democrat Party is NOT run by Democrats, or even Liberals. It is run by Democratic Socialists, aka progressives.
Following the advice of Karl Marx who said,“Democracy is the road to socialism.”—Progressives tricked Americans into voting socialists into power, and every time someone challenges their socialist agenda, they proclaim,“the election is over, we won!”
In other words, the 2008 election gives them the right to run roughshod over the vast majority of Americans, because they won the election fair and square, and as Democrats, they believe in the very ideology that Thomas Jefferson warned against—“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”
On this basis, progressives (aka Marxists) believe that they were elected to power for the purpose of ushering in global socialism and they couldn’t care less how many Americans stand opposed. They won the election and that’s that!
As long as Americans think they are debating with Democrats or liberals, they are no match for the international socialist juggernaut they are up against.

In a recent column I asked,- Is the Constitution a Partisan Document?
Over the years, I have known many republicans, democrats and independents that love and revere the US Constitution, our Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. But today, these ideas are under attack from within the halls of our own government and that’s what the anger at town hall meetings is all about. That’s what the 912 and Tea Party movements are about…
And, the fight for the future of freedom rests in the vote over nationalized health care about to be rammed down every American throat this week.
The Health Care debate is NOT over health care, it’s all about FREEDOM versus unbridled federal power.
Every sane American knows that there are things that can and should be done to improve health care in America. But we also know that handing health care over to the very people who have bankrupted every federal program under the sun is beyond insane.
The debate isn’t over health care. It’s over the federal government’s need to confiscate one-sixth of the US economy and gain control over life and death in one fast sweep.
If the American people fail to stand together and defeat this one government grab, they will have doomed themselves to a life of servitude for generations to come.
These are NOT your grandparents’ Democrats. Know thy enemy, or suffer defeat… Stand now or be forever silent!

Despite myths blacks are not the most victimized people in america.A study by the national crime victimization survey found that whites and latinos were victimized at a rate of 0.9 per 1000 and blacks were victimized at a rate of 0.7 per 1000.
