There must be some form of reform, but without any bills, we're just wasting our time talking....

I don't even know what his proposals are. Most people are discussing something they know nothing about.

This is the funniest thing about American politics, and of course, the flaws (and beauty) of democracy. The Republicans make it so beautiful.... they know exactly what things to pick on, and then repeat the same words in the media, until a significant portion of people believe in them.... even if a bill is "flawless", they know exactly how to do the word twisting.... then the other side has to waste time explaining those lies, and have to miss the key points all the time. How we hope we just have one authoritarian government so that we can quickly compete with China...

I'm pretty sure you already have China beat on the authoritarianism, and maybe ignorance too. Look at what America does to anyone entering America, they get their eyes scanned, finger prints taken, if you're lucky, you will walk through a machine where they blow air on you. America checks the credit card and email records of anyone entering from Europe. All this on top of the 101 questions they ask you after you land. I've not seen anything even closely resembling this in any other country, including China. That is somehow supposed to make airports safer. Of course ignorant Americans like you believe it, just like you believe China is more authoritarian without ever having stepped foot there. That's the problem with Americans and America, you included. You jump to conclusions about things without investigating for yourself. You talk about people speaking about Obama's health care without knowing about it, yet you are speaking about China without knowing anything about it. Take a look at the prisoners per capita in the world. America tops that list. No one else even comes close. USA is at the top, while China is number 71. How many cops do you see in Chinese schools, and how many cops do you see in American schools? The problem with ignorant Americans like yourself is that you are so convinced that you have freedom, that you don't even realise there is something wrong with having cops in schools. America is so authoritarian that there are open videos of cops tasing people on youtube, and no one really thinks theres anything wrong with it. Some Americans even find it entertaining. This explains why tv shows such as cops are so popular.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Sagittarius

Mercury turning retrograde in your house of finances carries a rather unseasonal message, because it's telling you to pay attention to your finances over the next few weeks. If you already know that you've overspent this month, you won't need to be told that a few economies are just around the corner. Get the facts straight and pay attention to the small print. You may also have to make some adjustments to an intimate relationship so it can move into another phase.
