The proposal is too splintered. The most deserving and needy people are still likely to fall between the cracks of various government-run programs. Also, the government has demonstrated an inability to manage social programs such as medicare and social security. I whole-heartedly support health care reform that is done with one seamless program which addresses the needs of ALL ages and situations. It should most definately include health maintainance, personal responsibilty, health education and more holistic approaches to health.

It's all a ploy to make illegal immigrants legal and then get their votes. "See what I was able to do for you?!" It has nothing to do with healthcare. Why try to force 85% of the people to change to "fix" 15%. Apply that to ANYTHING, it would sound nuts. Do you change your car since your oil is due?
