Obama's government (CZARS included) wants control over us from the cradle to the grave through socialized health care, against our will!;It's unconstitutional! It is a loss of liberty. He never listened to common sense. We've been shut out. It's his rush to our ruin! The cost($);downward quality; the risk (America's transformation!)is too high!Control's the real issue!Free speech is at risk!

Government should not be in the healthcare business.

Think about why he (and the government) are doing this, people...Healthcare has always favored the rich, or the very poor. The rich because they have the money, economic saavy, and doctors know that they will pay. The very poor, because state medical coverage, such as medical will foot the bill. The middle class may have insurance coverage at his/her occupation, but premiums are usually high, and if you are relatively healthy, then you are just giving your money away, plus you still have to pay a copay and/or deductible in most cases. Insurance companies and doctors/PA's/nurses are in cahoots with each other, and are really screwing the general public with outrageous pricing of treatment, equipment, and supply costs (i.e.--an ordinary cotton swab costing $2.00, charging $200.00 per day to stay at the hospital, etc.). Now, these are slightly exaggerated, but look at an itemized breakdown of your next bill from your doctor--pretty sad. Older people and people who get, say, specialized care, are pissed, because they say that the quality of health care will go down, and maybe they are right. However, many other countries that have socialized medicine are doing just fine. Explain how doctors can go to third world countries and expect little or no pay, yet still help these people. It should be Doctor healing first, pay second. Many doctors in America today go into medicine because it is prestigious and lucrative, yes, but they need to be taken down a notch. True, a doctor must be very careful, since he/she is helping a human life, and yes, all of the schooling, money paid, and critical situations are very valuable, to say the least, but a line must be drawn somewhere. Creating a government-run medical system is a great idea--everyone would be covered, our tax dollars would go to something useful, if we wanted to purchase private insurance, we still could--it is a win-win situation. Doctors would still be getting their share of profit, too. And for the average Joe/Jane out there, think about the MOST important thing: If you watched your diet, took care of yourself, didn't do things that risked your health and safety (doing drugs, smoking, rock climbing, etc.), then you may not need a doctor....by the way, it is all in your mind how healthy you are. I am 42, smoke a pack a day for 20 years, have 3 cats, drink to excess half the week, take an occasional walk for excercise, no high blood pressure, normal cholesterol, 6' tall, 177lbs., feel energetic, have no medical insurance (hadn't had it in almost 4 years), and have no physical problems. When I was covered medically, the only doctor I went to was to get a physical, and I was in perfect shape, dispite what I had written earlier. I never even had so much a cold in about 10 years. My point is, don't think about getting sick, don't take unnecessary risks, don't worry about things, and you will not need a doctor. Only worry about a doctor if something is REALLY life-threatening. God Bless!
