do not think the government should be running the health insurance of this country. I have not had health insurance since 2006. I am 65years old and don't have medicare either or social security. I am an AMERICAN CITIZEN and do not plan to purchase insurance if the democrats get their way.

I am for Medicare for everyone. Everyone is happy with Medicare. Because the older demographic uses their health care at a much higher rate than people younger than 65, Medicare for all could be operated much more cost efficiently than the current Medicare program. The majority of Americans voted for Obama's agenda. We voted for his leadership. We want the Public Option to be equal to Medicare.

You're wrong. The majority are against the plans Obama has set forth. Quit trying to distort reality.

The health care ' system ' needs repairs, not a total scrapping.

Do you really want the Government deciding WHO gets WHAT treatment and WHEN?

Do you want some bureaucrat-pencil-pusher making decisions on YOUR health care needs?

Another 1500 - 2000 page Bill written in
" legalese ", that will have to be overseen by lawyers, that effects everyone's health care, run by the people that brought you $800 hammers and bridges-to-nowhere. By estimates, effecting ONE-SIXTH of the entire USA economy.

CHANGE you can believe in?

Feel free to list below, ALL the Government agencies that now operate in a well run and efficient manner:

No idea what world this person is living in! I am a physician and have yet to treat a patient that is HAPPY with Medicare! If this does go through, people will get a really hard "slap in the face" from reality!

What other great big program has the government improved by taking it over??? People, we are losing our ability to choose for ourselves on many fronts, and lots of people just don't seem to care/have a clue. Obama's promises are empty - they helped him get where he wanted to go - the White House. But we mustn't expect that he will take care of us all, any more than any other politician. God help us all.

One year ago today the government owned and controlled 19% of the economy. Today with government takeovers of the banks, GM, etc. the government controls 30%. With healthcare they will control over 50% of our economy. Next up cap and trade. Get the picture people. If this was about the people dying in the streets because they have no healthcare, then why wait until 2013 to implement it....oh thats right the elections. No thanks, I will keep my Liberty!

The democratic plan = To retain power, grow the government; destroy the middle class.

If you think ANY Health Plan will leave out Illegals ...you are delusional. Even if it's not in the original draft, it WILL be ammended later to include them. Why? VOTES!

The greater number of citizens depending upon on the government for a job, health care, a paycheck, a hand-out, etc... just who do you think those citizens will vote to retain in office?

A bloated, ever-increasing Government and a bloated ever-increasing lower/dependant class with their hands out = a shrinking middle class.

Not a pleasant picture developing....

Our country is already far above its head in debt. This "health care program" will put us so far under that we will never recoverIt is a ploy for "big government". Politicians, as a whole, cannot run or control programs of this type. Just look at Social Security. They say they won't attempt to govern the program, but history shows they just can't help themselves. There has to be a better way to heal our health care system without digging a deal dept hole for our country,

Let me see if I understand all this...

IF YOU CROSS THE NORTH KOREAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET 12 YEARS HARD LABOR.

IF YOU CROSS THE IRANIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU ARE DETAINED INDEFINITELY.

IF YOU CROSS THE AFGHAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU GET SHOT.

IF YOU CROSS THE SAUDI ARABIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU WILL BE JAILED.

IF YOU CROSS THE CHINESE BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU MAY NEVER BE HEARD FROM AGAIN.

IF YOU CROSS THE VENEZUELAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU WILL BE BRANDED A SPY AND YOUR FATE WILL BE SEALED.

IF YOU CROSS THE CUBAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU WILL BE THROWN INTO POLITICAL PRISON TO ROT.

IF YOU CROSS THE U.S. BORDER ILLEGALLY, you will get a job, a driver's license, a social security card, welfare benefits, food stamps, credit cards, subsidized rent, a loan to buy a house, free education,
free health care, a lobbyist in Washington, and in some cases you can vote. What a system the US offers to outsiders!

This effort is a prime example of Socialism, one of many ideas that the liberals are advocating and they deny this publicly. They are either extremely dumb or are lying and consider the vast majority of our country as gullible fools to be led by the nose to doom.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Libra

Don't try to do too much at once today or you'll disappear up you know what! You're all fingers and thumbs, accident-prone and things start breaking. It won't help if you're trying to concentrate at work and a certain chatterbox doesn't know when to shut up. Ask them to be quiet but try not to sound shrewish.
