We should have some form of Governmental assisted health care before the year 2K. USA looks like some underdeveloped country otherwise.

He IS a liar. What is the problem the feds are trying to solve? Providing ins. coverage for uninsured, or remaking insurance for those already covered? The reason the answer changes all the time is because the TRUTH is that this is all about Chairman obama acquiring more CONTROL over us - "fundamentally changing...America" - so that chin-up, smug, arrogant, dirty Chicago politician can spread the wealth around. You lazy, misguided obama ("mmmm, mmm, mmm...") voters are responsible for this.

our present system is not affordable for individuals with preexisting conditions to obtain health insurance. Individuals between 50-64 hardest hit.

The system must include a way to cover the cost without adding a financial burden for our grandchildren.

Regardless of what needs any of you talk about, can you come up with a legitimate CONSTITUTIONAL basis for the government taking money by force from some and paying for the health insurance of others?

"I want" or "I need" is not a very powerful argument. "They do it in France" is not a good argument, either.

Should my $4,000 lasik procedure be paid by my neighbor? Should the nebulizer treatments for my pig, cigarette-addicted neighbor be provided for free? Should illegal residents be given free MRIs of their lumbar spines or should how about your wife's totally elective breast augmentation surgery?

You friggin' bleeding hearts, "Oh, golly, I see two people with discrepant wealth and discrepant income, and I must therefore conclude that (1) a social injustice has occurred, and (2) it's the government's role to correct that injustice."

Ignorant, emotionally-guided liberals, with an adolescent's understanding of Constitutional government or democratic republics.....

Hope..........Change.......... Puke..........

Increasing coverage increases demand, yet I know of nothing in the legislation to increase supply. Result: rationing, increased prices, or both. Like, duh!!!

Cheers, ol' boy.

Oh, by the way, just watched, "A League of Their Own" with the family last night. My son has baseball camp beginning tomorrow at the field there in Huntingburg. Know you got nailed by a monster storm today; you're expecting 90's and dewpoints in the 70's all week. Kids can tolerate it better than we old geezers.

I guess the guys on the DC Bombers are tutoring the kids....

It hasn't worked out for other countries. I think it's just another tactic to bring the population down.

Yes, I can. Read your Constitution again. Interpretation is very important. Read this with both sides of your brain.
The right to be free from federal regulation is not absolute and yields to the imperative that Congress be free to forge national solutions to national problems". Bingo, it's called mandates can be constitutional. Go back to law school and start over.
