I don't disagree that there are problems with our health care system, but increasing government involvement is not the solution. It will make things much worse.

It just makes me crazy to see this poll (which I know isn't a scientific one) where an overwhelming majority of people oppose it, but last night, the Dems in the house pushed it through. It just makes my stomach turn.

Aaron, you are right, more involvement from the government is not the answer... to anything! I couldn't name one single governement run program that is more efficient than it's private sector counterpart. And what about the rediculous costs? The government said Medicare was supposed to cost $12B in 1990, the acutal cost?$107B in 1990. Just a little off? Geez! This HC plan is supposed to cost 1.2T!! How much will it actually end up being.

We have always taken care of ourselves & our charitous nature will take care of those of us who need help. This gov. just wants control of everything-throw the bums out!!!

VA hospitals are a nightmare, that is run by the government. No thanks you.
Beside we already have health coverage for all. Go to most hospitals are you get taken care of, insurance or not. Come on do you realy think that 2 advil cost $20.00 each. Canada has government health care, but most of them come to the US for health care

When congress votes to give up there heath care and take what they want the rest of us to have, then I'll like the heath care system.
